Steve Rogers
It was nothing more than a normal day, paperwork here and rushing it somewhere else. You were on a completely different floor in the Helicarrier than Steve but with your rushing around you saw him often enough. You rounded a corner, stack of papers to be signed in hand when you heard the talking. You recognized the voices immediately, Steve was talking to Sam. You had met Sam a year ago, during a morning jog with Steve and liked him straight away. You stopped at the corner that was right before you would be seen by the two men, you were usually the nosy type but you were rather curious. "So, how's it goin' with your girl?" Sam asked as they sat at the break table, Steve grinned looking down at his cup. You held your breath, worry nagging at a part of your mind but his words made that all disappear. "Wonderfully, she is one of the sweetest most understanding people I've ever known. I love her, she's. . .just words don't seem to do her enough justice." His face was red when you cleared your throat unable to keep hidden anymore. Sam took the opportunity to laugh at Steve and left to tell people, you were sure he was going to anyways. Placing the papers you held on the table next to you, you smiled "did, did you mean what you said?" he nodded standing up and pulling you into a shy hug. "Yeah, I mean you're amazing and I'm really happy to have you" he smiled kissing your forehead and you laughed. "You missed" pulling him down by the collar of his shirt you kissed him before he had the chance to ask questions.
Tony Stark
You were bar-tending for one of Tony's parties, it was a nice gesture for him. You loved helping out, it was in your nature to do so and so when he asked you couldn't say no. You smiled giving drinks to people and listening to conversations, none of them had your attention though and you were getting bored quick but you stayed put. You were sure by now, seeing as how it was just about to turn two o'clock in the morning, Tony was pretty much plastered. He was, so much so that he seemed to forget who you were and started talking to you like you were a stranger. It was pretty funny though, "hey sweetie, you know you look a lot like my girl at home. You have the same eyes, hers are beautiful and her hair is so soft and man I miss her. You think she misses me?" you smiled, he was drunk confessing that he missed you even though you were the one talking to him. You rounded the bar and grabbed his arm "I'm sure she does, now let's get you back before she starts getting upset" he nodded, clearly he should start cutting back on how much he drank if it was this easy to get him to come with you. Getting him in bed and asleep was rather easy but unfortunately he had his arms draped over you and you were stuck with him. Telling Jarvis to get all of the drunks out of the house was easy and you spent the night stuck in a dress under Tony's arms. Morning came and he was clearly confused, "what the. . .hey Sweet Cheek, what are you doing there and clearly not dressed for bed?" you laughed and smacked his arm playfully "you, you big goof! You missed me and so I brought you back here and this is where I stayed. Trapped under your arm for hours!" you sighed but you weren't mad. He shrugged laying back down, "you love me though!" you rolled out of the bed and changed before getting back in with him "yeah, I do."
Bruce Banner
You had been running a few errands for Tony, bringing him papers and files and whatever else he needed. You weren't sure why he couldn't do it himself but you didn't see any harm in getting some exercise by running around the Tower. You were currently bringing a file from his workshop to his lab, one you knew Bruce was in with him and you were ready to just spend some time with him. You were pretty tired today, already ready to just go home a relax but you had things to do. You heard Tony's voice as he messed with Bruce and stopped outside of the door, on the side they couldn't see you from. "Come on, man! You are completely smitten with the girl, tell me about her!" Tony pestered Bruce about you, knowing he would get flustered and stutter embarrassed. You were surprised to hear his voice was soft but strong, "what about her? She's beautiful and sweet, smart and stubborn. She. . .I love her, what more do you want from me?" he sighed and you took this chance to walk in. "Tony, here's the file you needed!" you smiled and he took it from you "so, whatcha talking about guys?" you wanted to see what they said and they did not disappoint. "You" Tony and Bruce responded at the same time "nothing" you grabbed Bruce's hand and smiled, leaning close to his ear and whispered softly "I heard everything you said." There was silence, complete silence and it started to worry you but you felt him squeeze your hand, "hey, hey what's going on here?!" Tony joked, clearly enjoying his buddies frustration and shyness.
Thor Odinson
You were busy helping Thor's mother, Frigga with injured warriors so you had no time to talk with Thor all morning. You finally had a break, you needed one and happily searched for your lover. You were walking around the halls of the huge palace when a booming voice drew you towards a different corridor than you were heading. You recognized the voice immediately as Thor's and the other was feminine and quieter, that was definitely Sif's. You stopped, being the nosy one you were, at the corner that lead towards the hallway they were in. You smiled listening to him talk, "Milady and I are doing wonderfully, thank you Lady Sif! I do adore her, she has quite the colourful personality." You couldn't take it anymore and rounded the corner and entered the hallway as Sif was talking. "Ah, Lady Sif do you mind if I steal him from you for a few moments?" she smiled kindly taking a step back "of course not, I was just about to leave to check up on someone anyways. Good day, Thor" she waved towards the two of you before heading off in quite the hurry. You jumped into his arms engulfing him in a tight hug "I have missed you today, I have been so busy that this is the first moment of peace!" you declared into his chest. He smiled holding you against him, "oh, and I heard what you said to Sif" he chuckled "I know, I knew you were there" you pouted but shared a laugh with him before having to head back to work with his mother.
Loki Laufeyson
You were sleeping on Loki's bed after having come home with numerous wounds and he insisted that you sleep here while his mother cared for your injuries. You were trying to sleep anyways, not really having any luck because you wanted to get up and move around but the newly healed gash on your thigh left you immobile for the day. You lay there eyes closed as Loki paced for his mother, she was expected back any moment to check on you. When she came through the doors he was relieved and she could tell "I told you not to worry, Son, she will be just fine" Frigga tried hard to calm her son's worried mind but it didn't seem to be working. "No, you do not understand how much she means to me! She is my everything, I simply cannot loose her, I, I love her mother" his admission to his mother made her smile because while she checked you over she knew you were not asleep. She nodded to tell you to speak to him, to reassure him that you were indeed alright. "Loki" your voice sounded strange to your ears and slightly hoarse from your throat being dry but he heard you and rushed to your side. This was a new side of Loki that neither of you had seen before, he was not known for being kind or worrying about anyone else. "Love, how do you feel?" he grabbed your hand "I am fine, your mother told you this did she not?" his eyes locked with yours "I love you too" a flash of surprise went through his eyes before a playful smirk tugged at his lips while his mother left quietly. "Do not scare me like that again, you had me so very concerned!" he scolded you but you knew from the tone of his voice he was only half joking "but will I not get your worry any other way?" he rolled his eyes placing a soft kiss on your dirty forehead. "Sleep, I'm right here" he ran his thin fingers through your hair, an action that always made you sleepy until you were finally asleep.
Clint Barton
You were on a mission, actually, currently heading back from one and it was a dangerous and hard mission. It wasn't anything you hadn't handled by now but you were incredibly tired leaning against Steve in the small Quinjet. You didn't even realize you had fallen asleep until the sound of voices talking woke you up. You were awake now but your eyes were still too heavy for you to open as you listened to the three people talk. You recognized all of the voices, "how is she? He would not stop asking about her, she alright?" that was Nat as she talked to Steve who was carrying you through the Tower. Clint was insisting on carrying you, you could hear it in his voice "Cap, I can carry her if you want to go rest" Steve stopped before passing you to Clint. Steve smiled "she's just fine, really tired I suspect fell asleep against me about the time we landed" he didn't know how much pressure came off of Clint's chest at that moment. Waving off the super soldier the two of them were quiet for a few steps "I wasn't that wor-" Clint stopped talking when he received a glare from Nat, you would have moved or opened your eyes but being in his arms only made the exhaustion worse. "You couldn't stop asking about her" she pointed out and he sighed, you felt it "I can't help that Nat, I was just so worried you know? She means the world to me, I love her and I don't wanna lose her" you found your voice, albeit it was so quiet you didn't think he'd hear you. "You won't lose me" you cracked open an eye looking up at him, his expression was priceless. The mix of shock and relief was obvious as Nat slipped off to do whatever it was she did on days off, "I love you, don't scare me like that!" he grumbled and you placed a hand on his chest above his heart as he made it finally to your room. You didn't need to say anything and couldn't because when he lay you down you went right back to sleep.
James "Bucky" Barnes
You weren't really doing anything but Bucky on the other hand was busy on a mission with Steve, one you were over-seeing. You were just there for them to report too so you didn't have anything else to do. You were listening in though when the radio came through, it was slightly distorted from the distance but you could hear them well enough "command?" that was Steve's voice "hear ya loud and clear" you responded "calling to report that we are heading back with the parts and files, over and out" he called and you left it at that. No need to respond but you thought they had forgotten to cut off the communicator when his voice came in again. You didn't call and let him know because of what, more like who, they were talking about. "You are head over heels for her!" Steve joked and Bucky could be heard making a grumbling noise "so? I mean, she was the only other one to treat me like I was human and not some experiment. She understands me in a way that no one else can, I am head over heels in love with her but I have good right to be." You blushed and rushed to the helipad to greet them. Throwing yourself at Bucky like you always did when he was out and you couldn't come, you glance over his shoulder at Steve giving him a look that said 'we need time alone'. He rushed by and you pulled away from Bucky's hug but keeping a hold of his hands "I missed you, I mean, you were gone for what like the whole day!" you laughed and he smiled laughing too "it was so long, right?" he kissed you softly. You two started walking back, hand in hand "you know, um, I heard you over the speaker I think it's faulty or something but I heard what you said about me" you felt and could see him freeze next to you but you reassured him with your words and a large grin. "Don't worry Bucks, I'm head over heels for you too."
