-Perfectionist.

I must admit that the only problem I still must face and change is being unkind to myself.
It is easy for me to be kind to other people, to give them advices and tell them what they need to hear to feel stronger and move forward.
It isn't that easy to tell myself the same things, though.
I can't help but push myself harder than I can handle, always expect to be the best at what I do even though it gets tiring over time. I let my demons break me so I stand up taller and more powerful every time.
I bully myself so I don't feel weak when others try to.
I'm not hearing anything new coming out of their mouths, so I don't feel hurt or anything. I feel numb to this kind of pain. I only thrive to be an independent woman in my life.
I can't rely on someone's money, or affection.
Maybe reading my book will give you some of the traits of my personality, seeing my perspective can lure you to want to get toxic people out of your life, stand up invincible and be the best you can be. It is good, to breathe fresher air, and let new opportunities come to you. It feels amazing to work on improving yourself on all levels and do effort for yourself. But don't be so hard on yourself for one simple reason no one tells you about in books about self improvement. You'll have your pessimistic moments sometimes, working on your goals won't change your life altogether. You will still have the choice of happiness in your hands, and know that being kind to yourself plays a big part in feeling happy. Accept the fact that you're human, you're not supposed to be perfect. You can't let people let you down anymore but you may let down someone someday because you need more time alone.
You only can handle so much of life, don't let it cause you destruction. Pay attention to your needs, and to the ones of those around you. Don't always be selfish, but don't always be selfless. Find something between the two to find balance in your life, and find peace.
