"It's fine.. you don't have to make it up to me. I'm just pissed.. probably not even rightfully."

"And you have every right to be. Oh, I'm so so sorry.. please let me make it up to you, I'll do anything. Anything at all. Oh, Connor, I'm so sorry." He sniffled, looking as if he was about to cry.
"I-I swear I thought it was tomorrow, I didn't forget, I-I was going to bring you flowers and-and and cheer you on and- fuck I'm so sorry I've just been so busy with-with work and school I fucked everything up oh god, I'm so sorry, Connor.. I-"

"It's.. It's okay. You clearly wanted to support me. If you forgot entirely, it'd be a different story, but... I guess I'm not mad.  Just please don't cry, you know I can't stand it when you cry.." i frowned, setting my hands on his shoulders.

"You forgive me..?"

"Yes, I forgive you... I overreacted anyway. I shouldn't have been so mad."

"You had every right to be mad. This is so important and I'm glad you can accept my apology.. I'm so proud of you, Sunshine. I love you."

"I love you too.  Now get dressed. We have to head out soon."

He nodded and popped a quick kiss on my lips, heading over to his dresser to pick out an outfit.

"How do I look?" He asked once he was done dressing, turning around to face me.

"You look so handsome.." I smiled, walking over to him, slipping my hands around his hips.

"I do..?"

"Very. You look good, Kev.."

"Thank you." He smiled, kissing me quickly. "And thank you for forgiving me. I feel so guilty.."

"Don't feel guilty. I overreacted. You're a good sport. Just relax and have fun tonight."

"Can I still get you flowers?"

"Yes." I giggled.

"Good. I'll head out and get you some flowers, my Love, and then we can head over to the school?"

"You don't need to get me flowers.."

"I want to. You deserve them. So I'll be right back. Don't. Go. Anywhere." He grinned, popping another kiss on my forehead and jogging toward the door.

He returned ten minutes later, with a small bouquet in hand.

"Here you go, my darling!" He grinned, handing me the flowers.

"Thank youuuuuu!!!!!!!!"

"You're welcome!" He giggled, setting the flowers down on the counter.

"Okay, we need to go.. we're late."

"Alright alright, let's go!" He grabbed my hand and rushed me out the door, to the car, opening my door for me like always. He drove me down to the school, sitting in the front row of the auditorium, cheering loudly as they called me up onto the stage.

Kevin's loud cheering was truthfully quite embarrassing, making my whole face go red.

'Stop it!' I mouthed, giggling as I walked onto the stage, accepting my award.
