"That sounds good, yeah."

"It's a date. "

We stayed on the couch the majority of the day, getting up on occasion, only to get food, go to the bathroom, or just to get up and walk around for the sake of it. We got ready to go as the sun set, getting ourselves dinner, and changing clothes. I made a conscious effort to dress down, in the hopes that it would keep people from trying to buy me any drinks again. Kevin looked fantastic when I saw him, making me feel badly about my appearance.

"Hold on, I'm gonna change.." I huffed, walking back into my room.

"Wait, why? You look just fine."

'No, I don't. Just let me change real quick."

"Okay.."

I came back with slightly nicer clothes.

"Why'd you change? You look lovely, but you looked nice before too."

"Because you look good, so I needed to be on my boyfriend's level."

"Baby, you always look great." He smiled, setting a hand on my hip.

"Well, now I look better.. I think."

"Why are you self-conscious? You look wonderful."

"It's no reason." I sighed.

"There's clearly a reason, Sunshine."

"It's not a big deal, okay?"

"Okay.. I don't feel comfortable going out while you're feeling bad about yourself."

"It's seriously fine."

"No, it's not. What's wrong?"

"I just-! I feel bad about myself sometimes if I compare myself to you.. it's not a big deal."

"Why on earth do you feel bad? You always look incredible."

"Because I don't look as good as you."

"What doesn't look as good? Because I don't see it.."

"My body. Obviously."

"You have an amazing body.."

"No I don't."

"What are you talking about? Sweetheart, your figure.. it reminds me of a sculpture. You're beautiful. Absolutely breathtaking. Why do you think you're not?"

"Because you're better."

"I disagree. But even if it were true, that wouldn't make you less beautiful. You've got these lovely broad shoulders, and a waist that fits right in my hands, and this pale, perfect chest:. and a cute little stomach, and these wonderful thighs. You have a nicer body than I do. You have a nicer body than anyone I've known. It's yours.. I don't care if you're ripped or not, I don't need that.. You're absolutely stunning, Sunshine."

"..I guess it's not that bad."

"It's beautiful." He ran his hands up and down my sides.

"...I guess." I agreed.

"Now how about we go out and I show everyone how beautiful my boyfriend is?"

I nodded, smiling slightly.

"Okay.... I like your shirt." I giggled

"Oh, shush." He rolled his eyes

"I know! I'm serious, I like it! You look hot"

"I feel like you're making fun of me." He giggled

"I'm not! I know it's a girls shirt, but, you look great in it."
