*Emily's POV*
Maria and I start walking home. We walked in the door 10 minutes later. Our parents were still up. They were sitting on the couch watching TV, waiting for us to come home.
"There you guys are! How was the party?" Our mom asks us.
"It was a lot of fun" I tell her.
"Was there any drinking going on between you guys?" she asked us.
"No. There wasn't even alcohol." I tell her.
"Okay, well I'm glad you guys had fun. Now go upstairs and get ready for bed.
"Okay mom." Me and Maria both say as we walk up the stairs.
*Maria's POV*
That party was a lot of fun. I'm really happy Alex asked me to hang out with him. I think he is so nice and he's cute. I think I'm getting feelings for him. I wonder if he has a girlfriend. Well he probably doesn't if he asked me to hang out so he can get to know me more.
"So when are you and Alex hanging out?" Emily asked me as we get to the top of the stairs
"Not sure, he said he will text me." I told her
"Oh okay" she said.
"Why?" I asked her
"I'm just wondering. So when you and Alex are hanging out, I don't want to stay home. I will askAustinif he wants to hang out." She told me.
"You like Austin don't you Emily?" I asked her
"Maybe..." she said
"Come on Emily, be honest, do you like Austin?" I ask her
"Okay I thinkAustinis cute. Yes Maria, I do like Austin." She tells me
"Do you like Alex?" she asks me
"Yeah I like him. He's cute, nice, and has a great personality. What's not to like about him?" I tell her
"I think you guys look cute together as a couple" Emily says
"You think so?" I ask her
"Yes, you guys can win like cutest couple of the year." She says
"Well, so can you and Austin." I tell her
"I hope so. Well I'm really tired so I'm going to bed. Night" Emily tells me as she walks out of my room.
"Night" I tell her and I turn my light off and hop into bed then go to sleep.
