While Becca took the news of one of her best friend leaving well, doesn't mean she doesn't miss him. She was mentally preparing herself for the rest of the seniors leaving her next year, but not this year. Trying to figure out where to sit was proving her some difficulty since she didn't want to third wheel any of the couples. Spotting Santana sitting there, she went to the girl. Taking a seat next to her, she couldn't help but smile. "Hey Santana."

Tearing her attention from Brittany and Artie, Santana looked at her friend next to her, "Hey Care Bear. I was planning on getting you since Lady Hummel's not here. And I doubt you want a third wheel."

Quickly glancing at the two blondes and then at Rachel and Finn. "Yeah nobody wants to see anyone makeout."

"Agreed." Changing the conversation from relationships, Santana wanted to get her opinion on something "What do you think he's gonna have us do for Sectionals?"

Becca looks around the room and then answers like it's the most obvious thing in the world. "Finchel duet or a Rachel solo and then a big group number with Finn and Rachel taking lead."

"Don't forget Mercedes belting out the last note." Santana said, Becca agreeing with her. Their choir teacher is so predictable with his decisions and makes no effort to hide his obvious favoritism. It annoyed everyone to no end.

Said teacher just walked in and immediately Rachel wanted to talk about the ballad she picked for her and Finn to sing. Both Becca and Santana side eye each other, knowing that this was going to happen.

But surprising everyone, Mr. Schue explains that for this competition, Brittany and Mike's dancing was going to be featured. Becca couldn't help but cheer for her friends. More cheers for her friends were given when it was revealed that not Rachel was getting a solo, but in fact it was Santana and the duet was sung by Quinn and Sam.

Not liking how this was going, Rachel tried to get Finn to say something which led Santana and Rachel to start fighting. Not really liking how this is going as she's literally in the middle of this, Becca could feel her fight or flight reflexes acting up. Both Quinn and Sam could notice that their friend was in distress so Sam took it upon himself to yank the girl's chair closer to the couple and put his arm around her, trying to calm her down.

If she was in a better state of mind, Becca would tell him that he could've hurt himself doing that but wasn't in the mood to argue. His presence did help her out but deep down, she felt guilty about her feelings. So once she felt herself less on edge, she thanked him before scooting her chair in a way that there was a comfortable distance between them.

This got Sam to reluctantly move his arm from around her, but this gave Quinn an idea. Since Miss Holiday subbed for the club, Quinn could tell that Becca felt guilty for something. Granted she was the only person here besides, like Finn and Santana with her 'Mexican Third Eye' who could tell. As soon as Mr. Schue said she was singing a duet with Sam, Quinn knew she needed a backup option. Leaning over, she wanted to ask Becca something, "I was hoping you could learn my part in the song? It's just, last time we performed I went into labor right after-"
