Merkal responded ignorantly before a sinister grin formed on his face.
The door behind me that I had broken and fixed again was slammed open as a number of armed people Flooded in.
All of them easily surrounded me while pointing their swords at me.

I sighed as I laid back on the chair
I mean I've been tasked with setting this man straight but how am I gonna do it when this guy won't listen to me and I can't hurt him.

I've finally realized that no matter what I think of doing, Life will always find a way to screw me over.
Right now I was hiding under my bed in my room where I heard Hope's call.

It's a good Flippen thing that I saw her coming to me through Mana Eyes otherwise i don't know what would have happened.

It seems like Hope was about to leave my room as she was calling for me.
I racked my brain trying to think what to do now when i realized something.

Oddly enough, The kids notice me whenever I'm near them even if they can or cannot see me. But Hope's acting like I'm not even here.....

Her smile returned as she excitedly called out to me.

It seems like she bought my excuse as I wiped the imaginary sweat off my face in my mind.
....This is some good news tho, Now if Evan knows about it then we won't be needing to be afraid of being grounded or not.
I wonder if they have an ability like my mana eyes where they just don't see any kind of an aura from the doppelganger and are able to tell the fake ones through that. Welp, an experiment for some other time.
I came out of the bed as Hope happily came up to me.
[Well then, you happy little critter, what happened? I thought you were practicing about the battle tomorrow with Luna?] (Me)
Hope shyly looked away for a moment.

I shook my head slightly and bent down on one knee like always but this time hope was a bit taller than me.
I had to look up a bit, but it was alright. I held both of her small soft hands before I talked

Hope nodded, looked down and then suddenly hugged me which surprised me a little bit.

Merkal was desperately screaming for his life as I held his leg a thousand feet off the ground. Of course, we were a thousand feet off the ground cuz I was flying.

I finally turned off my intimidation.

I dis-conjured my wings as we both fell down to the ground.

Merkal was screaming his life out.
Though his voice was really muffled cause of the wind whistling past me.
I, on the other hand, relaxed, placed my hands behind my head and crossed one of my legs over the other.

I just ignored his cries as we both fell down to the ground.
Have to say though, I could have kept Using Intimidation but it felt like it was not traumatizing enough for him.
Now, I wonder if he would be traumatized now and just steer himself into the right direction or just came after me as an enemy. It's all the better if he fixes himself but even if I get another enemy, a drop of water in a sea is flippen nothing.
I Conjured up my wings again as we reached close to the ground to slow our descent as I grappled Merkal to me.
Merkal, Terrified and desperately clung to my body.

Tho I guess he didn't hear me.
As I landed Gracefully on the ground, I let go of Merkal and he fell on his bum.

My face lit up as I realized how cool that was what I said.
