Everyone had been acting very strange today...
Cupid hid himself away in the kitchen with Hallow, them arguing over sprinkles..? It sounded like.
Coby had his arms behind his back, sending you sly smiles before running off to his room.
Lockheart lazily lazed in the living room, wrapped comfortably in his own wings, it looked like he was asleep, yet he was tinkering with something behind his wings, away from your gaze.
Fear had being hiding in his room as usual, so that wasn't abnormal.
Asher was going over a checklist it looked like, his tongue was cutely hanging out of his mouth while he went over whatever it was he had written down.
Basically.. It seemed like everyone was ignoring, or avoiding you today. Of all days.. It was your birthday.. What was up with them?
"Jasper?" You called out into the empty hall, maybe he could give you some answers.
The ghost appeared, fazing out of the wall. "Yes y/n? Is everything okay?"
You nod. "I'm alright, but.. What's up with everyone? They're all acting weird.. Well, weirder than usual."
Jasper looked behind you, seeing Fear making his signature glare as to not say nothing.
Jasper shook his head. "I'm not sure what has them all worked up.. Maybe Creator has them working on something.." He avoids your gaze as he lied through his teeth.
Behind you, Fear face palmed and sighed, red tipped legs crawling back up the far wall and down the stairs to join the rest.
You turned your head, seeing nothing but hearing Fear's familiar tapping, while he walked on his extra legs, it sounded like fingers tapping on a desk.
You sigh, Jasper was a horrible liar..
"Well, thanks anyway. I'm just gonna sit in my room I guess.." You sadly sigh and walk off to your room.
Jasper's swirling eyes followed your saddened form and he let out a sigh to check on the others, guilt filling his non beating soul.

"What is taking so long? She's starting to think that were all avoiding her!" Jasper pouts, arms over his chest while his cheeks puff out.
"And people call me a tsundere..." Lockheart chuckles, finishing up the bow he was tying.
Cupid huffed and slapped Romeo's hands away from the cake with the wooden spoon for the 20th time today. "Were not! We just can't spoil the surprise! And i'd be much faster if Romeo would stop trying to lick the darn cake every five seconds!"
Hallow placed the last candle with a smile. Proud of the arrangement of the multicolored sticks.
"Where's all of her presents?" Asher asks, holding up his neatly wrapped box.
Fear hops from the ceiling, dozens of presents in his legs. "Right here, I'd say were ready now. Don't you think?"
Coby smiles. "I have a feeling our little ruby is going to love my present much more than you guys!"
Cupid turned to glare at the gorgon, passing the cake to the android in the room. "You probably have her something you bought for a dollar.."
Coby shook his head pouting like a baby bones. "No I did not!"
Cyrus scanned the present. "He is right. He did not, it was actually quite expensive."
Cupid rolled his eyes. "....no it all.." He mutters to himself.
"I heard that."
"Shut up you oversized hair dryer!"

You sighed as you brushed your hair, Cupid had sent you a text to get freshened up for the day, to which you had no idea why.
Until you got a knock on your door. "Be right there!" You reply, setting your hairbrush down, parting your hair the way you like it.
You walked over to your door, expecting to see Asher or even Cyrus, but actually Lockheart stood there with his arms crossed.
"About time angel. What took ya so long? Made me feel like I was waitin' for a doctors appointment." He chuckled, his hand out for you to take.
"Where are we going?" You ask him, taking his very warm hand.
He shakes his head and puts a finger to his teeth, in a shh motion. "I ain't gonna tell ya." He winks, making your face turn his favorite shade of pink.
The fallen angel smiles at your blush, pressing a kiss to your cheek he escorted you down the stairs.

At the bottom of the stairs, you stood in front of him while his wings covered your eyes.. And your whole body. "Lock! What the heck?"
He snickers and opens his wings.
"SURPRISE!" Each of them shout, appearing out of nowhere.
"You guys remembered?" You smile with tears of joy.
Cupid nods, fluttering over to you a sky blue present box wrapped in pink ribbons in his hands. "Of course, we only avoided you this morning because we didn't want to ruin the surprise!"
The angel presses a kiss to your forehead. "Happy birthday sweetie!"
You smile and take the box from him, tearing into the wrapping.
Inside, was one of his golden arrows but smaller, it was wrapped in a vine while a rose of your favorite color bloomed at the end. Carved into it, was yours and his initials. A rose gold chain was connected to it.
"Aw Cupid! I love it!" You pull him into a hug, kissing his heart stamps.
"Well.. Cyrus did the handy work.. And you can thank Aspen for the rose." He smiles bashfully.
Multiple skeletons frowned in jealously, as they (literally) showered you in gifts.
Hallows was orange with black polka dots, a yellow ribbon wrapped over it. Inside, was a choker, vampire fangs and little blood drops were the charm in the middle of it.
Your eyes lit up as you hugged the vampire, you kissed the massive stripe he had on his forehead.
Coby's was black with cartoon cobras over the backdrop of black, a silver ribbon wrapped around it.
Inside, was a small ring box, inside the small box was a golden ring band, a shining emerald glowed in the middle of it.
You slipped it on your finger then you hugged the gorgon, kissing his diamond.
Asher's was navy blue, with white stars drawn on, an orange ribbon tied around it. Inside was his favorite red and black checkered flannel, along with a wolf paw hair clip.
You jumped up and hugged the wolf boy, causing his tail to wag as you kissed his scar.
Fear sat the gift box in your lap instead of throwing it. It was a light lavender with silver spider webs used as the ribbons.
Inside was a crystal spider, completely made of glass, it shined in the light, the hourglass on it's rear shimmering brightly. Under it was his first trench coat and scarf, that he sewed himself.
You set it down gently and hugged him, kissing the bridge of his non nose, you gently slid his glasses back on, flustering him.
Lockhearts gift was.. Lazily wrapped, but it looked like he wrapped it while in a rage fit.
It had small burns, its wrapping was a stunning red, a black and gold ribbon wrapped around it.
Inside was his old leather jacket he used to wear, a devil horned headband, and a pair of black gloves lined with rubies.
"What are the gloves for?" Jasper asks.
"They are fire proof you see through idiot.." The fallen angel huffs.
You snap him out of it with a hug, your arms around his neck, the gloves on your hands. You kissed his broken heart stamp.
He chuckled and hugged you back. "Happy birthday angel.. Make a wish.~"
Cyrus held up the cake proudly, which was a six layered cake, that was taller than you. Each layer in their colors.
Lockheart turned his head from you to blow a light flame on the cake, lighting each of the candles.
"So.. Vwhat do you vwish for pumpkin?" Hallow asked, grinning.
You thought for a second, then blew out the candles, the fire going out and turning to red sparkly pixie dust.
