The autumn leaves crunched under your feet as you walked up the hill to the gate of Outcast manor. The gate was open, letting children in and out to get their bags full of treats.
You adjusted the skirt of your costume as you rang the door bell, which made a woman's scream, Hallow must have changed it for the month of October.
You waited.. And waited.. And waited.. Where they not home?
You let out a huff, putting a hand on your hip, you faced away from the door taking your phone out, you checked to see if you had any messages from any of them.
While distracted by your phone, you didn't even notice the lurking figure behind you, they tapped you on the shoulder. "Y/n"
You jumped and turned back. "Hallow, if you're trying to scare me its not.. Gonna.." Your eyes widened.
It was Hallow.. Or what was left of him, his head was gone, violet blood dripped from his headless neck.
You let out a shriek, and fell off the porch.
Just when you were going to run away, you heard laughing. You frown and turn your head, Hallow stood there holding his own head in his hands.
"Oh my god your face! Pfft.. Haahah!" He laughed even harder, trying not to drop his own head. "You vwere the best scare I've gotten tonight! Other than those four year olds.. But still!"
You growled and stood up, dusting your costume off, you ran up to him and punched him in the chest. "That wasn't funny you a**hole!"
"Vwhatever, I still got you pretty good, didn't I?" He smirks, popping his head back into place. He set his hat back on his head afterwards.
You roll your eyes. "Don't do that again or I'm not going to buy you anymore candy corn!"
His eyes widened and he quickly bowed. "Sorry miss y/n. But, a good scare never hurt anyone."
You crossed your arms over your chest. "What are you even dressed up as anyway?"
Hallow smiles and does a twirl, showing you his full costume. "The Johnny Depp version of the mad hatter, you like?" He tips the hat for affect.
You roll your eyes playfully. "Yes. It looks good on you, hatter Hallow. Where's everyone else?"
Hallow opens the door for you. "Inside, Cupid is setting up the snack table now. Have fun, I'm going to spook some more little kids."
You snicker and walk inside the mansion, Hallow shut the door behind you, climbing on the roof of the porch to scare children again.

The whole house was decked out it Halloween decor, carved pumpkins lined the stairs, spider webs were in every corner thanks to Fear. Blood splattered on the wall, which looked very real thanks to Amour.
"Wow.. They really went all out." You mutter, taking in the atmosphere with a smile. The house smelled like pumpkin spice and popcorn balls.
Creator popped up behind you. "Hey girl, love the decor? It was all Hallow and Fear's doing."
You turned to her, taking in her costume, which was a Cheshire cat costume, probably to match Hallow's getup.
"Yeah, they did a really good job!" You smiled. Creator takes your hand, she dragged you to the dining room.
Cupid was decorating a few cookies, Fear was sewing more spiderwebbed curtains, Coby fell asleep at the snack table, green icing all over his face.
Cupid turned and smiled when he saw you, he was dressed up as a vampire, but if Dracula wore hot pink, gold, and purple. A massive golden heart was painted on his face with makeup.
"Hello y/n! You came! Did Hallow scare you too?" He skipped over to you, holding a plate of spider themed donuts.
You smiled taking one. "Yeah, I wouldn't miss one of your parties! And.. Unfortunately, Hallow did scare me, and I feel off the porch..."
Cupid rolled his eyes. "I told him to stop scaring everyone.." He sighs. "I hope that he didn't ruin your good mood. The party is going to start soon, once everyone gets here.."
"Who else is coming?" You ask, wiping the frosting from your mouth.
Cupid counts on his fingers as he speaks. "Romeo, Amour, Jasper... Basically everyone, Aspen and his brothers wanted to come, but sadly they had duties to attend to."
You nod and take a seat next to the sleeping gorgon. "That's okay, maybe we'll see them around Christmas. By the way I love your costume!"
Cupid blushes a light pink. "Thank you y/n.. I had Hallow help me with it..... Um.. Is something burning!?" He dashed to the kitchen.
You looked over to the other two, checking out their costumes. Coby was a mummy, which was lazily done with toilet paper. Fear was a witch, which he didn't look too thrilled about.
Asher had walked passed you wearing a Frankenstein costume, his hair was even dyed for the costume, he disappeared out into the hallway.
Lockheart left the kitchen with an annoyed frown, he was dressed up as a pirate, an odd choice for him, but it did look good on him.
He looked at your costume and blushed. "Hello y/n.. Nice outfit.."
You smiled, which only caused his blush to burn darker. "Thanks lock, you too."
He took a seat at the far end of the table, trying to hide his face behind his captain's hat.
Asher came back into the dining room with a large candy bowl. "Oh, hey y/n! Fancy seein' ya here." He smiles.
"Ash.. Is that Hallow's candy?" You ask, pointing to the bowl.
He shakes his head. "No, Hallow has his own, but all he does is scare kids and steal their candy anyway.. I'm in charge of the trick or treater's. I'll see ya in a bit." He waves as he leaves.
"Greetings y/n." You hear a whisper from behind you.
You look to your left, seeing Jasper dressed as the Phantom of the opera. Which was kind of punny... In a way.
"Heya Jasper." You wave with a smile.
The ghost smiles back, before disappearing into the chandler in a gust of purple smoke.
You shook your head with a laugh at the ghost, taking out your phone again you scrolled through social media.

After almost an hour, The rest of guests arrived, Romeo dressed in a fancy suit for some reason.. You had no idea what he was supposed to be. Amour was dressed clad in a school girl's uniform, a black wing on his head, tied into a ponytail.
"Romeo.. What the hell are you?" Coby asked, he had finally woken up from his small food coma.
Romeo chuckled and sent a pink to you. "I'm Mr.gray."
Cupid's cheeks burned and he hit his sibling in the back of the head with a tea kettle. "Disgusting!"

After a bunch of stupid party games, Halloween games, candy eating, pumpkin carvings, and Hallow's singing, everyone was relaxing in the living room, while Halloween cartoons played on the flat screen.
Your head was in Asher's lap, while your feet laid on Fear's legs, he didn't seem to mind, he just read his novel.
Hallow finally joined you and the others, he stood in front of the fireplace. "Hey!"
Everyone sat up, and looked at the angry bat.
"Alright... Now tell me.. WHO DE F**K ATE THE CANDY CORN!?" Hallow hissed, eyes glowing in rage.
Everyone looked to each other then to him once again. You held your hands up in surrender. "Hallow, calm down, can't you just get more?"
Hallow stomped his foot. "No y/n! I can't just get more! That was the last bag! One of you fess up, or I'm going to turn you into a jack-o-lantern!"
Cupid rolled his eyes. "Hallow, no one ate your stupid candy.. Candy corn tastes horrible.."
"That is something the suspect would say!" Hallow pointed to the pixie.
Cupid sighed. "I'm clearly not making myself clear.... I DID NOT EAT YOUR STUPID A** CANDY CORN!"
Hallow narrowed his eyes. "Suspicious..."
Lockheart growled. "WOULD YOU ALL JUST SHUT UP!?"
Hallow was about to roast the fallen angel, until it all went black.
You sat up and grabbed Fear out of fright from the lightening strike.
"What just happened!?"
"There has been a power outage, please wait momentarily while I fix the issue." You hear Cyrus' voice from behind you as he went to find the nearest socket.
"Well this sucks.." Asher complained.
Fear pat your head, trying to comfort you from your scare, you couldn't see it, but his face was burning lavender at your touch.
After a minuet or too, you heard a zap, and the power came back on.
"Power restored." Cyrus announced a USB retreated back into his finger.
"Uh.. Guys.." Cupid mutters.. Voice unusually cold.
"What?" They all turned their heads, only for their eyes widen and before you knew it, the house was filled with screams.
Coby's being the most girly.
You were confused. "What happened?" You remove yourself from Fear's arms, following Cupid's gaze, you held a hand over your mouth.
There.. In front of the fireplace was a coat and a pile of dust and blood, and a knife.
Hallow was dead....
Who could have done this!?
