'That would save some time indeed..' you agree.

'I have no idea what you're talking about...' you reply crossing your arms.
'We just agreed we wouldn't lie...Miss y/n...I would strongly advice to not engage...'
'Afraid I might actually win?' You grin.
'Tell me do you really want to start a war with me young lady?' Snow sits down in his chair and you glare at him.
'That young lady I used to be died 6 years ago, together with the father of my child...the child I have to tell about how I jammed a knife into his chest in order to survive...'
'That was your choice to make, I didn't make that choice...'
'But you still keep the games after everything that has happened....the odds are never in our favour...ever...'
'I don't make the rules Miss y/l/n...' he replies folding his hands.
'What if it was your granddaughter in there?, you would stop everything immediately...you would stop the games...if you don't want a war...then don't give me a reason to start one and end those games now!'
'It's the recruits from district 12 that bother you, aren't they bothering you?'
You stay silent, you purse your lips as you're looking at your feet. You're not bothered by them, you're jealous, in them you see you and James. What you used to have and he knows.
'They are...' he grins amused.
'You want to kill me?, go ahead, what do you think will happen when you execute the most beloved victor of the century?'
'Complete chaos of course...that's why I won't execute you...not with a simple gun to the head or, hanging you from a tree...'
'Please enlighten me with what you would do to me..'
'If you truly believe that starting a war is wise...you will find out...'

'I proudly present to you!, the victor of the 69th hunger games!'
You step forward as your arm gets raised. People start clapping and cheering for some time.
Then you drop your arm and you see the crowd slowly starting to turn on you, so you take a step back.
'You could've stopped it!'
'You killed my baby!'
People start to yell and scream at you, raising their fists and getting angry.
'No!, no!, I'm sorry I...' you take a couple more steps back and trip over something, making you stumble back and hit your head on the ground.
The peacekeepers can't contain the crowd as they start to make their way over to you. The crowd completely engulfs you as they try to rip you apart.
And then, just as fast as it escalated, they're gone, you're left alone in an empty field.
You sit up and feel the breeze through your hair. It's dark, stars filling the sky above you. The high grass shielding you from view.
'Y/n?'
You look around and see a figure walking to you. You can't see because it's too dark, so you scramble to your feet.
You wait for the figure to reach the light, taking a couple steps back and looking around.
'Y/n...'
'No no that's impossible...' you start to shake.
'I'm right here baby...' Bucky smiles at you and you slowly reach for his hand.
You can feel his skin under your fingertips as you cup his cheek. How is this possible?
'Y/n, did you do it yet?, did you go up against President Snow?'
'N-no I...'
'Why not?'
'I'm raising our child...' you reply a bit defensive.
'Everything will be for nothing if you don't do anything....she might get chosen and this will all be for nothing...you have to do it...'
'I will be starting a war, our daughter will be caught up in it and she's all I have left from you!'
'Y/n those people need you...don't make them forget what President Snow made you do, made everyone do...'
Suddenly you're holding a knife and you're stabbing him in the chest. You gasp and try to let go but instead you pull the knife back and watch him sink to the ground and vanish.
'No!, Buck!' You scream.
You gasp as you shoot straight up, a layer of cold sweat coating your body, making your hair stick to your bare skin.
You wipe the hair out of your face as you catch your breath. The tv is still playing, you must've fallen asleep.
Then your stomach drops, your eyes scan over the lines shown on the screen over and over again.
"Quarter quell, new rule, all previous victors are assigned to a district to train and assist in the games!"
You slide out of bed and read the line over and over again. And again and again.
"Caesar, can you explain to everyone what this means?"
"Yes well President Snow has put in a new rule since it's a special edition of the hunger games... past victors are assigned to the tributes this year...they participate in the hunger games as well..."
"Don't you think it's cruel for Y/n to be put with the lovers of district twelve?"
Your jaw drops to the floor, your calmed breathing speeds up again, you speed to the living room where the other tv is playing. You grab a glass and throw it at the tv, which is a hologram so it breaks against the wall behind it.
You let out a loud scream and the door almost gets kicked down.
'HE CAN'T DO THAT!, HE CAN'T PUT ME BACK IN!' You yell as two arms wrap around your body to prevent you from hurting yourself or anything else in the hotel room.
'I know I know...shhh shhh, hey it's okay it's okay...just breathe...'
'He's gonna put me back in again Haymitch...I can't go back...I can't go back...' you start to get dizzy from the rapid breathing and he can tell.
'Sit down y/n...come on...good girl...' he says as he helps you to the couch.
'I can't go back...I can't go back...' you repeat.
'Y/n, focus on me...come on focus on me...'
'I don't wanna go back, don't wanna kill anymore...don't wanna hurt anymore...'
'You won't y/n...you won't...breathe...in...out..in...out...'
You shake your head as tears start to fall. You swore to never go back to that arena and now you're forced to.
President Snow is trying to terrorise you. He's trying to make sure you won't do anything. But if he's making you go back, you'll drag him with you.
