Chapter 151: I did have fun (Valentines War arc aftermath)

Ayanokouji POV

It's already around 3:02 PM 

Time really does fly fast. 

Kurumi and I did a lot today. 

Guess this little hangout didn't end in disaster. 

Of course, that's all thanks to Class S and a few other backups that already aided my class. 

I grabbed my walkie talkie as I checked on their current status. 

"Well?" I asked everyone. 

"Mission accomplished. We managed to stave off the 1st and 3rd years." Nagisa said. 

"Yes, some of them even fled from the area just to prevent from being another victim." Sora said. 

"Good, Kaguya what about Nagumo?" I asked.

"Nagumo's out. Miyuki-kun took him down." I see. 

I knew he was going to draw out his full potential eventually.

In fact, managed to do so in a short amount of time.

I'm genuinely impressed that he made it this far. 

This means Nagumo is officially not a threat to me anymore. 

"Ayanokouji-kun!" suddenly I heard Kurumi calling my name. 

"I'll be right back, good job everyone." I said to them as I turned off my walkie talkie. 

"Well, did you have fun?" she asked while wearing a bright smile. 

"I suppose I did have fun." I answered her. 

"That face though says otherwise but it doesn't matter, at least you were honest." she said. 

"By the way..." I suddenly grabbed a small box from my pocket and gave it to her. 

"Huh? is this for me?" she asked.

I simply nodded.

"You shouldn't have." she said.

"It's customary for me to give you a gift on Valentines, right? so here." 

"Thanks Ayanokouji-kun." she said as she took the box from my hands. 

"I can open it?" 

"Go ahead." I said as I looked at her open the small gift box. 

She took out the object that was inside. 

It was the gold bracelet that I was planning to give her. 

"Wow, it's beautiful. I didn't know you could be this thoughtful." Kurumi said as she smiled at me. 

"I told you; I'm just following customs." I stated. 

"Either way, it's wonderful." she looked at the bracelet that she was now wearing. 

Looking at her closely. 

She really did enjoy herself. 

I still haven't felt anything yet but for some reason. 

It just seems different. 

Kurumi's presence is different from Karuizawa's.

And she seems very happy.

It's either because Kurumi is in the same class with me or it's just that I connected with her in ways that even Karuizawa couldn't. 

"You seem very happy." I said to her. 

"Of course, why wouldn't I be? at least our hangout wasn't ruined in anyway so of course I'm happy." She suddenly walked towards me and our faces our now close to each other.
