The red light on the camera turns on, and I smile brightly into it. "Hello, hello! It's time to announce the tributes for our second game in the 150th annual Hunger Games!" I say. I begin to read off the names.
"From District 1, Princess Galore and Caesar King!
"From District 2, Mildred East and Oscar Leigh!
"From District 3, Jillie Hapenes and Ki Intumi!
"From District 4, Gretchen Tittle and Elijah Gregory!
"From District 5, Cory Finn and Bertha Hulk!
"From District 6, Ludwig Libhart and Fran Sermon!
"From District 7, Trik Dublin and Margret Patterson!
"From District 8, Barbara Sludge and Herman Chicken!" I try not to giggle as I say his name out loud.
"From District 9, Ingeborg Thorn and Magnus Copperfield!
"From District 10, Ursula Fisher and Bruno Lesley!
"From District 11, Helga Blue and Thor Stump!
"And finally, from District 12, Ethel Lifshitz and Tyle Cabana! That's all the tributes! I'm Candy Sugarplum, and this was your Capitol update!"
