"Xavier!"

She moaned loudly.

He saw her world crashing into something bright and beautiful, her face providing him the evidence of her satisfaction, as she came apart in his arms. He moved his hips faster trying to focus as she shuddered beneath him, groaning in pleasure. His blood rushed like a wild river, flooding dangerously close to a release. With one last thrust, he screamed her name and let himself fall over her body, almost crushing her from his weight. Her hands immediately clutched him and her lips gave a soft kiss to his forehead.

After a while, he lifted his face to look at her, she looked flushed and gorgeous. God, he loved her so much. Leaning in, he kissed her lips, the way she loved.

"Darling, promise me you'll always love me.", she murmured, her breath labored and taking up all the oxygen that her lungs could muster in between their kisses.

"I promise, Subhadra.", it was a resolution. He believed that his love for her would end only in death.

"You'll die, Xav!", she gasped as he entered her again. Her nails bit onto his shoulders, and she moaned louder as her body and words lost themselves in their bliss.

"No!", screaming at the top of his lungs he woke up, his body filled with lust and sweat. It had been one month, and he still regretted calling Samiksha, "Why did I fucking care!?"

He had heard her voice that day and it was a pity that every single effort which he had been taken so far to forget her had vanished into thin air. It was back to zero, exactly like how she had claimed it, that his love for her would be the death of him.

A water bottle placed on his nightstand looked at him like a sad soul while he glared at it.

Lucid dreams had been frequenting him, almost every night. He had woken up screaming and sweating, every night he had cried to sleep again. Giving water to his mad energy had become a routine at mid-nights.

He chugged every drop of water from the bottle and threw it, frustrated at himself. That's all he could do, nothing more or less.

He took his phone and punched a phone number. He stared at the screen for more than an hour before changing it to something else and calling it.

"Hell... Xav, it's midnight. Please masturbate and sleep" the voice huffed.

"Satya, I don't think that's an appropriate response.", he scowled.

Satya could be so crude in her unconscious sleepy state, so different from her regular self and Xavier needed a friend like her to make him realize that life was nothing but a perspective.

"Well, this is not an appropriate time to talk.", she barked, "I am so fucking sleepy, Xav, and my business partner is an asshole who dislikes people with late punch-ins to the office. He's such a stuck-up, disciplined arrogant piece of s--"

"Satya, I am the one you are talking about." he cut her, "I am that shitty business partner of yours that you are cursing about."

Xavier had wanted to call someone else. Someone who tormented him in his dreams. But he ended up calling the great Satya Devi, goddess of truth and triumphs, and she acted true to her name.

"Why, thank you. I know whom I am talking to.", she wasn't ready to put up with his depressing attitude anymore, he knew that. She had her own life, full of shit to clean up.

"Satya, I want to meet her. I want to know why she left me, I am unable to sleep.", and he let it out, finally.

"Yeah, masturbate and sleep. Good night!"

The call disconnected.

When Papon sings- "Na Rooth Ke Sirhaane Mein, Remote Ko Chupaoge...", I just think how such mundane things matter the most.

OK, bye!
