"Hmm... Xav...", Krithika moaned, her hands pushing Xavier's prying hands away from her body, "It's too early to start this...", but her mind lost its control as her hands gradually moved to hold his head in place.

"Is it?", his hoarse voice vibrated near the crook of her neck, "How about we take it slow, very slow... Umm...", she felt his tongue sliding on her shoulder, "Your skin is so soft and luscious, fuck those Swiss chocolates..."

Her eyes closed, relishing every bit of Xavier's art of seduction.

A call from security rang aloud and she was startled, her left foot jerked resulting in kicking him hard on his upper thigh. Grimacing with pain, "Fuck them.", he frustratedly grunted and picked up the call barking loud, "What!?"

"Sir, Samiksha ma'am is here with...", the voice replied, hesitating for a second before continuing, "...her kid and parents."

"Oh, fuck!", Krithika whined, "Xav!"

"Let them in.", Xavier replied to security and cut the call.

"Is there no concept of intimating about plans within your circle of friends?", Krithika sat straight, rubbing her face, vexed by her current state of undress, "Wait... My jeans are mopping near the entrance... Fuck... Go get it!", she shoved Xavier out of the bed, yelling at him.

"Aai and Baba had told me about visiting today...", he caught a fresh pair of pajamas and a t-shirt from the wardrobe and tugged it on, "Sorry, it slipped out of my mind and forgot to notify you."

"Thank you very much for your injudicious information, you can throw that in the garbage now.", she snarled, sliding out of bed and walking towards the bathroom, "I am going to take a bath... I don't want to look like this... a fucked up shit in front of your parents."

"I would like to join...", Xavier began, but stopped midway watching Krithika glare at him, "...but I already took a bath... Also, I have to go and attend to them.", he sheepishly smiled and started to walk in the opposite direction.

"Get those fucking pants from the corridor!"

He heard Krithika calling out behind him and shook his head.

"My angel is here, huh?", Xavier picked up Dhriti from the floor and held her on his arm.

"Xaviii!", she gurgled in response and extended her tiny hands to him, "KitKat?"

"You act as if your Xavi is a signed contract KitKat supplier, Dhri.", Samiksha chuckled, "No more chocolates for today, your Aaji fed you enough sweets for the week."

Sonali scoffed, "You ate more than her."

Xavier walked them inside and noticed the cursed jeans near the corridor. He picked it up and bundled it in his hand, "Just a minute.", he excused himself and strode to the bedroom. After throwing the garment over the bed he closed the door behind him and rushed to the living room.

"Mukesh, the house looks too bland, isn't it?", Sonali clicked her tongue, "Such a waste of money."

He heard his Aai complaining about his shit taste in the interiors and smiled. Sitting next to Samiksha, he shifted Dhriti to his lap and replied, "Well, my Aai was too busy to help me set up my house; I am not going to fuss about it though."

Sonali rolled her eyes, "Yeah, I was not interested in leaving my job to attend to your childish mind.", she took a magazine from the coffee table, "Seriously? Hey kaay aahe? Everything engineering dirt!", her hand furiously probed for anything other than boring engineering magazines and related books.

She finally found something interesting, "Ah, you read Arundhati Roy, from when?", her eyes admired the book in her hand- 'Capitalism: A Ghost Story' as she smiled, "Shall I borrow this one from you for the week? I need to reread this one."

"Umm... That is Krithika's book.", Xavier shrugged, moving his fingers high in the air to play with Dhriti as she jumped on his lap and stood on her wobbly feet, "You can ask her to lend it to you; she's very particular about her books."

"She lives with you?", she concealed the smile curving her lips with a short snort, "What's the kids call it these days? Oh, the live-in-relationship?"

"Sona...", Mukesh shook his head.

She narrowed her eyes, "Can't I have a conversation with my son?"

"You aren't having a conversation, you are pulling his leg.", he began, his eyes searching for something, "I'm parched, I don't understand how you can talk continuously. Don't you feel thirsty?"

"Do you remember that I am a teacher?"

"Oh, how could I forget that...", he smirked and it was one of the rare events where Sonali blushed and shut her mouth.

Dhriti blabbered, "Parshud!", and fell on her bottoms above Xavier's lap, "Xavi, please KitKat.", she showed her puppy eyes to Xavier while flailing her arms.

"Okay angel, let us get you a KitKat and water for everyone."

Live-in-relationship? Well not a bad idea, she could move in before getting married...

A/N

My Amba (Mom) just keeps pestering me if I have completed writing my story, and every time I keep my poker face on with a reply- "I started writing in the middle of January and I have written more than 100K words (That's an achievement for myself, considering that I had to restart my writing hobby). Whatever you are asking, I am no god!"

Jeez... Sonali and Mukesh remind me of my parents.

The particular line from 'Bheegi Si Bhagi Si'- "Meri Aankhon Ki Siyahi, Piya Deti Har Gawaahi...", gosh, how beautiful that is to represent the yearning for love.
