Chapter 98: At the Farm a request by tessalucy

Peter had never stepped foot on a farm before, but he was excited. Tony was taking him to Clint's farm where him his wife Laura and his three children Cooper, Lila, and Nathaniel lived. Tony told him Cooper was his age (sixteen), while Lila was fifteen and Nathaniel was six.

Tony knew Peter only had two friends and him being the shy kid he is, can't necessarily talk and make friends with his peers. The older man wanted the kid to have more friends his age, besides Ned and MJ. He also thought Cooper and his siblings were good kids.

They drove down the dirt road coming up on a farm land, seeing a big red barn and tractor then seeing a tiny quant house. Once they pulled up to the house and came to a stop, both Peter and Tony got out of the car.

They walked up to the front door and knocked on it, Clint and Laura answered it and greeted them warmly, "Hey guys c'mon in, the kids are excited to meet you Peter." Laura said.

After Laura and Clint let them in Clint told Peter to come with him, he took the boy towards his backyard where three children were. "Hey Cooper, Lila, Nathaniel, Peter's here." Clint said.

The kids ran up to their dad and the other teen, they were smiling at Peter which made him smile slightly but he couldn't help but feel shy. "Peter this is Cooper, Lila, Nathaniel. Kids this is Peter, I'm gonna go back inside with mom and Uncle Tony, you guys should show Peter around the farm." Clint suggested.

"Sure dad, c'mon Peter." Cooper said.

Peter looked back at the back porch and saw Tony nodding his head, as if he was saying to go for it, Peter looked back at Cooper and nodded. They walked further away from the adults and began to strike up a conversation.

"So Peter what do you like to do for fun?" Lila asked.

"W- well I like building stuff with Mr. Stark in his lab, and watching Netflix." Peter replied.

"So you're a nerd?" Cooper joked.

"Uh..." Peter trailed.

"Oh be quiet Cooper he's a cute, shy nerd." Lilia said.

"Oooo Lila's got a boyfriend." Nathaniel teased.

Lila rolled her eyes, "Nathaniel we've known Peter for less than ten seconds."

Peter blushes as he rubbed the back of his neck. "It's okay, Mr. Stark was teasing me about hanging out with you Lila."

"Of course he did, that's our uncle for you." Lila answered.

The kids were able to breakdown some of Peter's shy walls and got to know him better, Nathaniel kind of got bored and left to go inside leaving Peter, Lila, and Cooper in the loft in the barn.

"Have you ever ridden a horse Peter?" Cooper asked.

He shook his head, "No I haven't but it'd be cool too."

Lila tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear, "Maybe we could teach you the next time you come to the farm!" She exclaimed.

Peter smiled, "That'd be awesome!" As they kept talking Clint came into the barn and told them lunch was ready. So they left and went to go eat. Once it was actually time for Peter to go he got both Cooper and Lila's numbers.

After Tony and Peter got into the car driving away Tony saw the smile on the young boy's face. "So did you have fun?" He asked.

"Yeah I did, Cooper is pretty cool." Peter replied.

"Uh huh, Lila seems pretty cool too." Tony smirked as Peter blushed.

"Y- yeah Lila's cool too, she said next time we come back she and Cooper are gonna teach me how to ride a horse." Peter said.

"That's cool kiddo."

(Hold on- do we ship Peter and Lila? That's a good question.)
