The snow was coming down tremendously, Tony was in the driver's seat, riding along to AC/DC, he glanced over at his son. Who was watching as the white powder filled their surroundings. The older man smiled at the teen, whenever Peter got quiet he's either bored or something was on his mind. Tony knew he was bored, as Peter was currently making shapes with the condensation on the window. "You bored over there kiddo?" He asked.

"I've never been more bored in my entire life existence dad." Peter replied.

"You teenagers are so dramatic." Tony teased.

"Knowing you, I bet grandma and grandpa couldn't handle you, even if you came with instructions." Peter joked.

In response Tony pretended to clutch his hand, holding it to his chest with a fake expression of pain. "Oh my god, Peter you've hurt me, like, I may need to go to the hospital for being in critical condition." Peter retaliated, rolling his eyes. "Haha dad, your jokes are hilarious."

"When you're my age and have kids you'll do the exact same thing. Trust me, and I'll just be watching from behind and then spoil my grandkids."

"Definitely sounds like something you'd do, and I won't be surprised." They laughed and kept driving, with the sounds of falling snow, decedent wind, and rising sun. The drive luckily wasn't that bumpy, but it sure was long, Peter hated it. His Bluetooth headphones were dead, he forgot to bring the charger, oh and they've been driving for three hours.

And all Peter could see for miles was an empty road, occasionally driving past houses, but mostly just an empty road. Then, they hear a noise, and the car stops moving, Tony parks the car and sighs. "Dad, what's happening? Why did the car stop?" Peter asked, he was starting to worry. Tony leaned over and ruffled his hair, "I'm gonna check it out, you stay here." He told his son.

"Wait, l- let me help you. It's cold outside." Tony shook his head in response, he didn't want his kid to get hurt or walk in the freezing cold. "No, you stay in here, I'm going to see what's wrong with the car. I don't want you to go out in the cold."

Peter nodded, and Tony proceeded to exit the car, lifting the hood and examining it, but everything was fine. He kneeled down and saw that the front rear tire was flat. He didn't have an extra back up tire and judging by where they are they're definitely not going to have service. So he retreated back to Peter who watched his every move since he left the vehicle.

"Did you fix the car dad?" He asked.

"Unfortunately kiddo, I didn't. So for now we're stuck here." He said rubbing his hands together to cause friction for warmth. He noticed Peter was shivering, it was also getting darker by the second, taking off his coat, Tony draped it over Peter, putting a beanie and mittens on the boy as well. Ever since Peter was little, he always seemed to get cold easily.

Tony heard Peter's slow breaths, he had fallen asleep, he turned the car off and cuddled closer to Peter. Trying to fall asleep himself, and soon enough it was daytime again, and Tony found himself waking up and glancing over at his son. Peter was still peacefully sleeping, unfortunately he had to wake him up to figure out a plan to get out of this mess.

Tony gently shook Peter out of his unconscious state, and saw the teen's eyes flutter open. "Morning kiddo." He greeted. It took Peter a few seconds to remember what happened, he rubbed his eyes and greeted his father in a raspy kid like tone. "Mornin' dad." He said. Tony knew they couldn't stay in the car, because they didn't have much to do, since they couldn't use their phones.

Neither of them packed enough food, and if it came down to it Tony would give up the food to feed Peter, of course, because that was his son. And he'd do anything to protect him. Even if it meant his life or Peter's he'd automatically put his life in danger. "We gotta move out bud, it's not safe to stay in the car, we're in the middle of nowhere." Tony said.

"Where do we go?" Peter asked.

"We gotta try and walk through the forest, that's our best shot at the moment." Tony replied.

"Do you want your coat back?" Tony shook his head.

"No, Pete, I want you to stay warm. I'm fine in my coat." The two of them got out of the car, staying glued to each other's side and began walking towards the forest, to add onto what Tony told his son minutes before, you couldn't see the road as it was lathered in snow, and there weren't tire tracks. So their best bet was to walk through the forest and hope they'd find something or someone that could help them.
