Peter and May were driving along the highway headed to Tony's new estate, getting ready to spend the weekend, while Peter would babysit Morgan. Driving down the road listening to "Tiny Dancer" by Elton John, a classic, the terrain was pretty good, all you could see for miles was tall trees, green grass, and the beaming sun.

Peter was excited to babysit Morgan, it was a way for him to hang out with his little sister, and take a break from college essays. Though he was still going to work on them anyway, it was weird to think he was only nineteen and going to MIT, Peter missed the road trips he and May would take. This one was worth it though, since they talked and jammed out to music.

At the moment Peter was asleep, having been exhausted from waking up early to drive, the drive from their Queens apartment to the house was about four hours, give or take. So as Peter opened his eyes, letting them get used to his surroundings, he looked over at May. Who's hands were on the wheel, tapping to the beat of "Should I Stay or Should I Go" by The Clash.

She glanced at him and smiled, "Morning sleepyhead." She said.

Peter rubbed his eyes, he checked the clock on his phone, it read 8:00 A.M. "Mornin' May, how long was I asleep?" He asked.

"About an hour, since we left the apartment at 7:00. We've got three hours left of driving." She replied, Peter nodded his head, grabbing his backpack and taking his notebook out. May laughed when she noticed what he was doing.

Peter looked at her, "What?"

She shook her head, "Nothing."

"It's obviously not nothing May, you've always told me I've been a bad liar, are you ready to eat your words?" Peter teased.

"You're studying at eight in the morning Pete, you do realize we're going to spend time with friends and family, and you're studying." May explained.

"If I don't get this essay done, I'm going to fall behind in one of my classes. So yes, I'm studying at eight in the morning. In my opinion it's better than studying at Mr. Stark's place." May couldn't necessarily argue with that, Peter was in his first month of college. And for a freshman he was handling it well, along with being New York's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

She kept her eyes on the road but it all went in a blur when another car crashed into them and they went spiraling out of control and into a ditch. From that moment on everything went dark for Peter. Soon the sounds of beeping and muffled voices were knocked into Peter's senses. He slowly opened his eyes, wincing at the brightest of an overhead light.

As he came too the voices around him became clearer, he didn't recognize who was talking, he could distinguish that it was two women, and a man. His eyes adjusted to everything going on he saw the three adults, standing at the end of his bed talking.

They turned and gasped, one woman with brown hair and round glasses ran up to him and hugged him, a little too tight since Peter made a sound of discomfort. "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to squeeze you that hard." She said.

"I- It's okay." He replied.

"Hey buddy, how're you feeling?" The man asked.

Peter was confused, he felt fine, or at least that's what he thought. "I'm okay, I think, where am I?" The man sat down next to him.

"You're in the hospital Peter, you got into a car crash with May. Luckily you guys weren't injured too bad." He studied the man, he had a goatee, he was wearing pretty casual clothes, but with a red tie, and he smiled softly, but the real question that ran through the young boy's head was: "Who the heck is Peter?"

"I have a question, who's Peter and who's May?" The three adults looked at each other in concern, the woman with red hair got up from her seat. "I'll go get the doctor." She said, before leaving the room. Peter looked between the other adults and could see they were sad.
