Chapter 187: Hogwarts Part 2 A Request by Aadya_1112

(I apologize for this being so late and so short, but here it is! New Harry Potter x Marvel content.)

Anyway, on with the story.

It'd been a few months since Peter came to Hogwarts, and he loved it. But this was definitely going to be difficult to explain to Professor McGonagnall, the trio honestly didn't know how they got here in the first place. Pranking Professor Snape was a bad idea, an immensely bad idea, Peter's mind was frazzled. But it was a dare given by the one and only Harley Keener. He told them it'd be fine as Snape would be out of class when they went in.

But in the back of his head he knew they were going to get caught. MJ was there just to police them on which ingredients for the potions were, while Ned was getting too excited by the fact they were going to pull this off. The three of them inched their way into the classroom and started setting up their prank. They began their work and once they were finished they slipped their way out and went back to their respective common rooms. But Peter remembered he had to head out to the library.

He completed the book MJ lent him, he wanted to read something new. He entered the library and began scouring through books, he also made a mental note to grab a few textbooks as well. Walking down an aisle he glanced up to see a familiar face, the dirty blonde hair and robe with a Gryffindor lion gave away who it was. Harley smiled a cheeky grin, he greeted the other boy,

"Hey Peter, how did your assignment go?" He asked, knowing full well what he dared the curly haired boy to do. Peter laughed in a fake tone, he was sure they'd be caught, for crying out loud they pranked professor Snape of all people. The older man would figure out who did the scheme in a heartbeat. Peter shook his head, "He's definitely going to know who did it."

Harley chuckled, "You could've said no genius."

Peter paused, his face becoming flustered. "W.. We really could've said no?"

Harley laughed harder in response, "Yes! I didn't actually think you'd go through with it!"

That's when the panic set in, Peter started to pace, biting his nails nervously, they messed up. He messed up! "Oh god, oh no. It's already been done and now we're going to have to watch it. I have to go to Professor Snape's class in about an hour!" Peter rambled on.

Harley stepped forward and put his hands on Peter's shoulders, "Luckily, I'll be with you. And I'll take the fall for it."

Peter looked at Harley in astonishment, "No, Harley, I won't ask you to get in trouble for me!"

Harley winked, "Good thing I wasn't asking either. I made a stupid joke, plus I'm known as a troublemaker. Professor Snape will assume it's me anyway, so you're in the clear."

"Well that's not very nice." Harley laughed at Peter's innocence, he was definitely a Hufflepuff.

Harley shook his head, "You're such a Hufflepuff, Stark."

"No duh, Gryffindor lad!" Peter retorted. The two boys couldn't keep straight faces and bursted into laughter, soon remembering they had to go to class, which of course Peter dreaded. But it had to be done, twenty minutes rolled by and they were seated next to each other in Professor Snape's class. Peter waited anxiously for his Professor to find the prank, and it wasn't even five minutes into the lesson when Snape's potion prep became an absolute mess.

The class erupted into laughter, and after Snape cleaned himself up with a simple spell, the room quieted down, and the man's angry scowl marked every student's eyes. That is until they landed on Harley, Peter looked at his friend, meanwhile Harley sent him a wink. He got up from his seat and walked with Snape out of the classroom, assumingly to Professor McGonagnall's office.

Peter's conscience didn't take that very well, so he rushed to find Ned and MJ to come clear about the prank they pulled. They ran as fast as their legs could carry them to the office and thrusted the doors wide open. It caught the adults and Harley's attention, Peter shouted to the older woman. "Professor McGonagnall! Harley didn't do it, I did!"

Ned and MJ nodded their heads, "Yeah, we helped him!" Snape scowled, most likely thinking how Peter was already living up to his father's troublesome attitude. While Professor McGonagnall beckoned the children to come forth. The trio began explaining what they did and how it wasn't Harley's fault. Adding that they deserved whatever punishment she, Snape, and Professor Dumbledore saw fit for them.

The professor's (excluding Snape) were secretly proud of their accountability and also their cheeky prank. They had to stay stoic though, and give the kids their punishment. Which they received with grace, Professor Dumbledore ushered them off back to their studies. As MJ and Ned walked ahead of them Peter stayed hanging around with Harley. Harley turned to his friend and smirked, "I told you I'd be fine. But thanks Peter." He said.

"No problem Harls, besides my conscience wasn't able to handle it." Harley chuckled, of course his conscience told him to go do the right thing. They continued on their way and Peter was definitely going to write about this whole fiasco to his father. Maybe Hogwarts wasn't going to be as bad as he thought it would.
