Chapter 176: French Baguette Part 2

(Sorry for the long awaited part two of this one guys, I really love this head canon. Seems y'all did too considering you asked for a second part lol. Also the French translation is in italics and the Russian is underlined. A reminder that I'm using Google translate, as I don't know Russian and am still learning French.

Anyway, on with the story.

Peter smiled, he waited all week for today, he even marked it on his calendar, Natasha was finally going to teach him some basic ballet stuff. He'd always watch her in fascination whenever she danced, she was so elegant, so graceful, he only wished he could dance as good as her. He walked into the practice room, seeing Natasha in traditional ballet clothing, he joins her and begins warming up alongside her. They stretched until their bodies were relaxed, and then they moved onto dancing, they worked at it for hours.

Once Peter got the hang of it, they started dancing to swan lake, Natasha was impressed by how quickly Peter caught on to everything. They learned parts of the dance and when they were tired they took a break. Going upstairs to make some lunch, Sam, Clint, Bucky, and Steve were all in the kitchen already making food. Steve glanced at the two of them, "Were you guys training?" He asked, looking at their outfits.

"Nope, Nat was teaching me some ballet." Peter answered.

Sam snickered, "Were you wearing tutus too?" Peter was annoyed by that comment, so he decided to switch things up and talk to Natasha, in a different language, just to screw with him and Clint.

Peter turned to the woman, since he knew French and Russian, he was going to switch between those. "Tu veux jouer avec eux? Ils agissent comme des idiots." (Wanna mess with them? they're acting like idiots.)

Natasha laughed, "Faisons-le." (Let's do it.) And so the games began, Nat and Peter spoke in French, holding a normal conversation, while occasionally glancing at Sam and Clint. Pretending the latter were talking about them, Bucky realized what was happening but didn't say anything, Peter made a mental note to tell him he was a real one. "Il fait beau aujourd'hui, il va pleuvoir dans les prochains jours." (The weather is nice out today, it's going to rain in the next few days.)

Nat laughed, "Ouais, j'en ai entendu parler, espérons que ce n'est pas trop fou." (Yeah, I heard about that, let's hope it's not too crazy.) She looked at the men and could see them grimacing. They were definitely mad, she and Peter were enjoying every second of it.

"What are you two laughing about?" Clint asked.

Peter ignored Clint's question and told Natasha, "Passons au russe." (Let's switch to Russian.)

And that's what they did, they switched to Russian. "Их лица чертовски веселые." (Their faces are freaking hilarious.)

Bucky then chimed in of course, as they weren't the only ones fluent in Russian. "Вы, ребята, сумасшедшие, вы знаете это правильно." (You guys are crazy, you know that right.)

Peter nodded his head, "Да, но ты все равно любишь нас всех одинаково." (Yeah, but you still love us all the same.)

Sam was getting angrier as he and Clint were being left in the dark. And now Bucky was in their conversation, meanwhile Steve had finished cooking and was watching this whole thing unfold. He was chuckling to himself, although he along with Sam and Clint had no idea what they were saying but he knew it was Russian. "Bucky! What are they saying? Steve, make them talk!" He whined.

That made the four of them laugh even harder, while the other men were blowing steam out of their ears. They spent the next thirty minutes speaking Russian when Tony walked in and ignored what was happening because it was nothing new. He was prone to the chaos by now, although he did find it hilarious. "Наверное, нам следует остановиться, пока они не начали физическую драку, Нэт." (We should probably stop before they start a physical fight, Nat.)

"Don't make fun of ballet, or else we'll do this all day." Peter replied, somewhat directly quoting Steve. They stopped and wouldn't hear the end of it as Sam and Clint began cursing them out. Steve told them language, while Bucky was telling Tony everything and laughing more about it. Overall it was a funny thing, and they decided to watch a movie. Happily able to tell that story for years to come.
