The Light of Day Chapter Fifteen.

*I have started to format this book, as well as earlier ones, to make it look nicer. For example, all the chapter names will soon look identical, instead of some being The Light of Day Chapter _ and others being The Light of Day [Pokemon] Chapter _ and others being, well, you get the point. The first book may be rewritten just like A Pokemon Adventure, tell me if you'd like me to do that. I've realized that while the second and third books have good plot and work well, the first one would need a HUGE amount of editing to get to my standards. So, tell me if you think I should rewrite it. (It would be MUCH better, and possibly longer, just like the ReWritten A Pokemon Adventure)

Anyway, this is the last chapter of The Light of Day!

Amazingly, it's not the end to the legacy- This is a four-book series! Unless I actually publish that prequel at one point... Lol.

You won't expect what's going to happen; I garantee it. But I won't say more - GO AND READ IT!

WHOO!

*So excited at end sequence that is totally amazing and took forever to write*

But a quick reminder:

READ THISSSSSSSS!!!!

The End of Time is currently a three-chapter book sitting in my works. I plan to finish it before migrating it over to The Darkened Time Series book, so check it out there!

I'm a trained police officer, I've been in dangerous situations when you know there's someone watching you. That never-ending feeling that someone is behind you, someone is watching you.

It is that feeling that is terrorizing me right now.

Kiriel and I walk up the steps, the most bizarre thing - a spiral staircase right in the middle of a mountain.

"Do you... Feel that?" Kiriel asks, breaking the complete silence.

"Feel what?" I ask, already knowing his answer. If two people can feel that... Feeling... of someone watching them, there's at least an eighty percent chance that there is, in fact, a reason for it.

"Someone's... Watching us..."

Suddenly, without warning, I spin around, falling down the steps and throwing a pokeball.

"Mean look!" I tell my arcanine, Fure, to use the move that would usually immobilize an opponent in battle. It's a random chance, but maybe...

I walk calmly down the stairs, and I know that Kiriel will follow, will want to see if anything... Anyone was caught.

"Gavin." Kiriel's voice spoke my name, almost in a whisper.

"What?" I turn around, to see that Kiriel is not looking at me, but at Fure, who is growling, looking up. I glance up.

A teenage girl, at least fifteen years old, is hanging from the stairs above us.

"You... Who in the world are you? Why are you following us?" I demand. The scene is so odd, it creeps me out. A teenage girl, hanging off of a spiral staircase in the middle of a mountain is staring down at us.

"...I was Lily, once... But no longer. As for why I am following you... Because this is my fault..." She drops down, landing in between me and Kiriel.

"I led Team Rocket to you."

---/INTERMISSION/---

You all can go and settle out your bets on who was following them. Yeah, I know, it's a random acrobatic teenage girl that seems to have changed her name. But, she's rather special. Heh.
