I used to have a contest here but it is LONNNNG over so I'll just say...

You're awesome! :D

And that should be enough!

Yay!

----------------

-Some four or so years later-

Looking back, the years passed rather quickly. One became two; two became three; and three became four. It wasn't long before I would soon be celebrating my fifth year with the organization. My pokemon had grown stronger, and my pidgey had, at one point, evolved into what a fellow Team Rocket Member had told me was a pidgeotto. As I had spent more time with my pokemon, I had begun to learn their moves as well.

But, everything changed, roughly two weeks before I would celebrate my fifth year with the organization.

Everything would tear my life apart.

The human mind is an incredible thing. One day your life might be ripped apart.

The next, you might settle happily for something that is far below your standards.

And the next, have both parts of your life ripped apart simultaneously.

And the next, be forced to live with what you used to live with voluntarily.

Funny.

That's, in a nutshell, what happened to me.

One day, my past life was ripped forcibly from me, along with my beloved parents.

The next, I joined an organization I truly knew nothing about, and was incredibly naïve about it.

And the next, both former lives were completely, and forcibly, ripped from me.

But, I guess you could say I ripped them out.

Because that fateful day, I realized something.

Something that I had never before really noticed.

Something that led me to believe that I was the most incredibly naïve person ever.

Something that made me doubt my entire existence.

And made me become a changed person...

Forever.

___________

I walked back to my room, and flopped down on my bed.

Remembering the day's events, I sighed. I wished they would assign me to a harder mission, taking down psycho kids was kinda getting boring...

Of course, now that I was doing missions on my own, it was a bit more challenging than before.

I decided to take a walk around the HQ.

Had I not, I would have possibly continued life as normally as was possible in the HQ.

But I did.

And when I look back, now, I'm glad. Sure, it ruined my life again. Sure, I was changed, and not exactly positively, forever.

But I knew.

And as some have said before, 'While ignorance is bliss, it will also be the end of many.'

I agree.

I don't want to end up like any of them.

And I didn't.

At least, not yet.

___

I walked down the corridors, my hands in my pockets.

Unexpectedly, I stumbled down a different corridor that was not on the map I received.

Again, a fateful move.

Walking down the corridor, I see a large, steel door with a small, barred window at the top.

Standing on my toes uncomfortably, I peered into the window.

And what I saw would change my life forever.

It would change anyone's life forever.

And I would never, ever, go back.

Inside the room, there were many... Prisons. I say that in a rather odd way, as the enclosures were more like plain metal cages, sitting there on the ground.

Inside the many cages that were in use were people. People of all ages,

People. In. Cages.

Did it sink in then?

No.

I was incredibly naïve. How I could have not understood? Everything, all the jigsaw pieces in a neglected puzzle, could have clicked together right then.

But they didn't.

____

"Woah," I mumbled.

I can't believe it! After all this time... They had never told me that they had their own prison! That they helped the police in actually keeping criminals behind bars! Wow!

But then... Who are they?

I peered closely through the window. In one smaller prison, I saw two figures that I vaguely recognized. Two figures... Two figures...

And that's when my eyes finally widened.

That's when my life truly changed.

That's when many jigsaw pieces fell into place.

And that's when the beginning ended- and the end began.

____________

Well. That sure was epic.

Yay!

Well. Who here agrees that this chapter was good?

[Raises hand] "I do!"

Well, that makes one of me. And honestly, with all the bugs in cloning, I'm glad.

Anyway. Most of you probably don't really want to hear all of my randomness, so. Firstly, thanks for reading this chapter.

Secondly, would everyone who has gave in any way some sort of feedback for this story, stand up?

[Clap clap clap]

And thirdly, please give me feedback. It can be simple, a total review, or anything in between or anything else. I use ALL feedback in this story, in various ways.

Thank you and good day. Or night. And no, I will not explain that. XD.

And also, please give me any questions you have.

And that's it for now, I hope you enjoyed!
