AND NOW FOR OUR FEATURE PRESENTATION!

Chapter five!

(Yeah, it's a little late. Everything's been really busy. Plus, it's not like you're all going to die because you waited a whole extra three days. Or maybe that's why there's nobody on chat...)

In this episode:

Will Gavin and No-Name be able to escape the Pokemon League HQ?

If so, what is waiting for them in the outside world?

And an exclusive character bio!

As well, there's yet another disclaimer! (I <3 Disclaimers)

And a few other little things as well!

So now, the chapter!

NOW WITH 25% MORE EVIL DEEDS!

*Team Rocket cheers*

I turned to laugh at the Team Rocket member, who could barely move, as I started to lug Gavin after me up the steps of the spiral staircase.

I narrowed my eyes, what was he doing?

He seemed to be pulling something out of his ... pant-leg?

Looks like a gun...

I hurry to get Gavin up the fourth step. He's pretty heavy...

The Team Rocket guy slowly laughs maniacally, and aims the weapon above my head.

Maybe continuing will be a bad idea...

But then he fires, and I realize the choice of whether to continue or not is no longer mine.

An egg-shaped green thing, shot out of the weapon, bounces on a step about the middle of the staircase.

It wobbles once, then twice, the motion reminding me of the seconds after a pokemon had been potentially captured in a pokeball...

But this seemed to be more sinister...

I move back slightly, doubt causing me to shove Gavin all the way (not far) back down to the bottom of the staircase, as I retreat backwards slowly...

It stops wobbling, for a moment...

Everything is silent.

Then nothing is, as the small device explodes.

Dust and little bits of the material the staircase was made of swirl around in a quickly receding storm, and as the mess settles, I can see a huge gap in the now unusable spiral staircase.

I spin around, already looking for a second exit, a way to escape.

The Team Rocket member grins evilly. Then he, ever so slowly, speaks.
