Chapter 19

The mysterious woman grinned then flew away on her garchomp. Chris and John promptly left the mountain and after healing their pokemon they left for the gym.
The gym, unlike any others, had a guard, guarding a door. "only after presenting seven gym badges may you pass," he said gruffly. They showed him their badges and, after thoroughly checking that they weren't fake he let them pass.
They walked into a very dimly lit corridor, leading into a pitch-black room of large size. A spotlight shined on the stage-like thing. Their was an older man staking there, one that they recognized...
"greetings. I'm glad you made it this far," came the the voice of the man once known as TMFTBS. "I am the eighth gym leader, Grayson, I work at my bike shop in my spare time. My children call me Gray. Welcome--- to the normal gym.
-Gym battle Eight, Grayson of the normal-
Pokemon: ??? Preferred type: Normal
Name: Grayson. What: Gym leader eight
So, to sum the battle up, Grayson used four pokemon, one of them regigigas. John made a stupid mistake and didn't send out lucario till everyone else fainted. He then succeeded in wiping out four pokemon in a row. We pick up after regigigas gets defeated.
"congratulations, young ones, receive the simple badge and head on to the elite four, were you will meet imminent doom. Bye!"
So they left the large normal building and headed south towards the elite four. They were faced with a huge cave but decided to just fly over it.
(what did you think, I was going to catalogue the entire victory road?) They then attempted to battle the elite four...
Three minutes later-
"well, that could have gone a whole lot better," admitted Chris. "yup. Couldn't get that much worse,"
agreed John, after losing the very first match in the elite four in a matter of minutes. "for some reason, our pokemon just couldn't attack." "hey! I know why," exclaimed John. "there hasn't been enough adventure in this story yet for it to end, so we have to go out and do something." "no," replied Chris, "isn't it obvious? We can't have both the eighth gym leader and the elite four in just one single chapter. Plus, if we don't lose any battles it'll make this story lose even more readers." "let's go through the victory ro-" said John, interrupted by the sudden interruption of the team rocket leader and his two top goons. "we may have lost last time, but prepare for our leader to crush you!"

The two sinister pokemon landed on the ground.
"Wing! "Luke!
A fierce battle raged, but it quickly became obvious that Chris and John were way out of their league.
"now! Weezing use fire blast! Arbok- rock slide!"
"come back lucario" "return, wing
"Hahahaaha. Find me again when you've beat the elite."
Half a year later-
After training for little over 5 months separately, John is waiting for Chris at the stellar train station, outside of a town 13 miles away from the elite four. He looks up from his book startled, when a bolt of lightning lights up the rain-smeared sky.
