Never thought I would see the day,
when you decide not to stay,
to leave me alone,
and throw my love away.
My dreams are now ripped from the seams,
nightmares replaced with a beam on your face,
my greatest horror,
my touchiest fear,
seems to come alive,
whenever you're near.
I would never say this,
but I feel disgrace,
humilation and shame,
as you played me the fool,
and break the rule,
that broke my heart.
The rule to be honest,
the rule to not lie,
the rule to not use me,
and putting on a fake disguise.
If this was a contest,
well congradulations, you won,
you took away my eyes,
you minipulated my mind,
you mixed up my feelings,
just for that one prize.
Eyes not to see,
what you really were,
thoughts not to think,
of love not to prosper,
feelings not to feel,
rejection and suspicion,
A prize,
that excluded me,
and involved someone else,
you did so well,
it was given a day early.
But it all went to shit,
when she gave you,
a heart breaking hit,
so now we're both alone.
But I guess you have it worse,
when you know,
that you couldn't compete,
with that person she's,
head over feet.
You do feel regret,
and you do feel niave,
to think everything would go your way,
when it never has before,
just know, that its your fault,
when you thought it could have more.
