Dawn a freshman studying Accounting wants nothing more than a normal life after spending her senior year of high school as a Magical Girl. Until the void she once thought she defeated reemerges. Seventeen year old Lisette Kessler is a well-kept secret. Being allergic to the sun, she is confined within her own home with no way out. At first she believes there is nothing that can hurt her there, even when she sees her first wild animal, a gray wolf with amber eyes. But, as she discovers more of what the night life has to offer, what might she unravel?

Rainbow Dash lives in a world that once you turn 16 you develop a marking under eye. Each marking has its own meaning, you have your happy markings and your sad markings, the happy ones are good ones and sad ones aren't so well that good. The happy markings are extremely common unlike the sad ones they're really rare. And legend says that two of the opposite markings cannot be in love only the same markings can be together. And once Rainbow moves to CHS she meets her new best friend Applejack, and after a few months of friend Rainbow grows strong feelings for her farmer friend. But there's one thing keeping the two apart... They're markings..
