In a fog-covered coastal city, humanity is slowly losing its memories. It begins with small things - forgotten names, childhood events, and familiar faces - but soon becomes far more horrifying. People start forgetting how to speak, how to recognize themselves, and eventually how to survive. Some victims are drawn to the ocean at night, walking into the water and disappearing beneath the fog without leaving ripples. Dr. Scott Lockwood, a trauma and memory therapist, begins treating patients experiencing disturbing symptoms. They hear whispers from dead phone lines and radios, as if their forgotten memories are calling them back. Scott soon notices patterns - his patients are connected to him in ways he cannot explain. His own memories of his sister's disappearance begin changing, rewriting themselves into darker, more disturbing versions of events he thought he knew. As he investigates, Scott discovers the memory loss is not a disease but a survival mechanism triggered by something ancient buried beneath the city. Long ago, humanity discovered a terrifying truth and collectively chose to forget it. Now, something beneath the city is waking up and demanding the return of emotional meaning, identity, and history. Scott learns he was psychologically guided into becoming a memory archivist for this entity. His job was to collect and preserve memories before they were erased forever. I know a sonic high school au how original, but I intend to try and keep these characters as close to their cannon counterparts as possible. Meaning I intend to focus on fun action instead of pure school drama. Though it will still be there Plot: Sonic is a junior in High School who spent last year building a group of friends as well as a rebellious reputation for himself.
