"You always look like you're about to disappear," Devin said, flashing that lazy grin everyone knew him for. Nyomi arched a brow. "And you always look like you've got something up your sleeve." "Usually do." His eyes lingered on her. "Not with you, though." That made her pause. "Why?" She asked Devin shrugged, casual as ever, but his voice dipped just a little. "Guess I'm trying to figure you out. I will eventually, I feel it." She studied him, searching for the joke-didn't find one. "You don't get tired of chasing the same thing?" "Not even close." He stepped nearer, hands in his pockets, like he wasn't already all in. "You don't look at me like everyone else does." Nyomi looked away first. "Maybe I just don't look." His smile softened. "Yeah," He murmered. "That's the problem..."

In a city where magic flows like code-compiled, structured, auditable-Vex has learned to survive by being useful. They cannot cast. Every spell crashes with a fatal error no diagnostic can explain. So they've become a translator, a compiler, making everyone else's magic work while their own refuses. When wild-code appears-magic that flows from intention rather than syntax, impossible to regulate or suppress-the Mage Council sees risk. Vex sees people whose magic works differently, not wrongly. People the system rejected first. Commissioned to help eliminate wild-code, Vex must choose between the safety of invisibility and the risk of being seen. Between a career built on working around their "limitation" and fighting to prove it was never a limitation at all. A novel about systems that claim to be neutral, magic that refuses to lie, and the cost of rewriting infrastructure when you can't stay invisible anymore. Updates Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays!

By day, his life is predictable-college lectures, a part-time job at IKEA, friends who talk more than they listen. By night, everything slows down. Films play on low volume. Thoughts get written down. Sleep never fully arrives. Then one night, an unknown message appears. Are you awake? No name. No photo. No promise of tomorrow. What starts as late-night conversations between two insomniacs quietly turns into a routine neither of them admits they're depending on. She never shares too much. She never lets him get close enough to hold. And she keeps reminding him that this-whatever it is-won't last. Some people don't enter your life to stay. Some connections are meant to exist only in the dark. And some love disappears before it can be named. A slow-burn, introspective novella about insomnia, emotional restraint, and the kind of connection that feels real because it refuses to be permanent.

This story has been on my mind for months, slowly taking shape. Floria Hours is a soft, slow-burn love story about Taehyung and Jungkook, two people from different worlds who find comfort in each other over time. It's a forbidden kind of love, built quietly through shared moments and unspoken feelings. There is conflict, but also warmth, growth, and a love that unfolds patiently, leading to a happy ending. There will be content warnings, read it carefully and proceed with the story only if you are comfortable!🙌 HAPPY READING🤌😚

Elias Thorne does not cry. He wakes up at 6:14 AM. He measures his coffee grounds with the back of a knife. He walks the same route to his archival job, counting the cracks in the pavement to keep the world from falling apart. At 38, Elias has turned his life into a museum of habits. His apartment is perfectly quiet, a sanctuary maintained for a ghost: the fading water ring on the dining table, the empty side of the bed, the coat in the closet that smells like cedar and memory. He believes that if he controls the small things-the temperature of the water, the lock on the door-he can survive the absence of the one person who made the silence bearable. But structure is fragile. When a lightbulb burns out and the seasons begin to change, Elias is forced to confront the dust settling in the corners of his life. This is not a story about moving on. It is a story about the friction of survival, the weight of a teaspoon, and the quiet geometry of a life lived in the aftermath.

Obsidian has always been a good kid. Quiet. Watchful. The kind of girl who never argues, never complains, and never draws attention to herself. While everyone else laughed and ran and made mistakes, Obsidian stayed in the shadows, observing from the sidelines, content to remain unnoticed. That is, until she meets Avery. Avery is everything Obsidian isn't-reckless, loud, and endlessly curious, with a talent for getting into trouble and dragging others along with her. But Avery's chaos isn't just attitude. She comes from a hidden society of assassins, each bound to a magical gem that grants them extraordinary abilities. Magic, danger, secrets-Avery's world is nothing like Obsidian's quiet life. And then the truth comes out. Obsidian's bloodline isn't ordinary either. Her great-great-great-however many greats-grandfather was a god. Not a benevolent one. An ancient, malevolent deity whose power never truly faded. That power runs through Obsidian's veins, dormant and waiting. When she turns thirteen, it will awaken, granting her dominion over the sky itself-the winds, the storms, the fury of the weather. But power like that never comes without a cost. As Obsidian's abilities begin to surface, so does something else: a darkness she never knew existed. Emotions she's buried for years threaten to break free, and with them, the god's influence stirs. If she loses control, the consequences won't just affect her-they could tear the world apart. Will Obsidian master her power and remain the girl she's always been? Or will the storm inside her consume everything in its path?

Nysa lives in a world that is far too loud, even when it's silent. Her mind is a relentless machine of observation and empathy, dissecting the subtle shifts in a stranger's expression or the unspoken weight in a room until she is left exhausted by the data of human emotion. Rational to a fault, she understands the mechanics of her alienation, but logic provides little comfort for the isolation it creates. The only reprieve she finds is in the recurring architecture of her dreams. There, a man whose face feels like a forgotten melody offers her the one thing she cannot find in her waking life: a stillness that requires no explanation. He is her anchor in a sea of subconscious noise, a ghost she has come to love more than the living. Pushed to the brink by the sensory overload of her daily life, Nysa orchestrates a solo escape to heaven on earth. She seeks a void-a place where her mind can finally stop translating the world. But the solitude is short-lived. There she comes face-to-face with the impossible. Standing in front of her is the man from her dreams. He isn't a figment of her imagination or a symptom of her fatigue. He is real, he is flesh and blood, and for the first time in her life, Nysa's rational mind has no explanation for the truth standing right in front of her.

Don't turn the page. : Mara finds a book that responds to her thoughts. At first, it feels quiet. Curious. Almost harmless. Then it says her name. This isn't a story about madness. It's about control, survival, and what happens when something sees you too clearly. The book warned you. She warned you. You kept reading anyway.

This book is a collection of the thoughts that drift through my mind and the emotions that echo in my heart. Each poem is a moment - sometimes quiet, sometimes loud - shaped by love, loss, hope, and everything in between. These words are pieces of me, written in the moments when silence spoke the loudest. If you've ever felt too much or nothing at all, maybe you'll find yourself in these pages.

We are taught to prepare for the big heartbreaks-the betrayals, the arguments, and the sudden endings. But no one prepares you for the quiet erosion of a friendship that was supposed to last forever. There is no manual for the moment you realize a person has transitioned from a daily presence to a distant memory. Erased follows the subtle, realistic journey of two people moving through the motions of their own lives. It is an exploration of the "drifting" phase-the slow stretch of time where messages go unanswered, shared jokes lose their spark, and the vibrant colors of a shared history begin to fade into the background. It's a story about the weight of silence and the realization that sometimes, people aren't taken from us by force. Sometimes, they are simply smoothed over by the mundane routine of growing up, leaving behind a space where a person used to be. Because the most painful part of losing someone isn't the goodbye. It's the slow process of being erased.

"Don't hate her... she's not who you think she is." Jester Wilson is a smart, introverted first-year college student who just wanted to be left alone. No drama. No mess. Just books, peace, and a quiet life with his six chaotic friends. But all of that changes when he receives a cryptic message on Instagram from a mysterious private account. The sender? Someone claiming to be himself-from the future. The warning is simple: "Don't be deceived by her fiery mouth." The girl in question? Ellie Yakamura - the classmate Jester used to hate. Or thought he hated. Sharp-tongued, fiercely competitive, and impossible to ignore... she's the exact kind of person Jester swore to stay away from. But as the future keeps messaging him with vague hints and emotional nudges, Jester finds himself questioning everything - his judgments, his feelings, and the fine line between hate and something much more complicated. (I haven't edited this yet. Sorry for the rough writing 😭)

Ella, a 23 year old university student, lives a quiet and lonely life, rarely socializing or feeling the comfort of human touch. She is used to this, and her routine is satisfactory. At least thats what she has convinced herself of. One day she meets a new friend, who quickly turns her life perspective around. But with change comes fear, and with fear comes distance. A distance Ella has so comfortably lived in for many years. I wrote this short story in hopes it will bring comfort to any lonely souls, struggling in finding purpose. I want this to be a reminder that feeling as though your life is dull and lifeless, does not mean it is not worth living. You matter. I hope from the bottom of my heart that anyone out there struggling can find peace and a space where they feel loved and accepted.
