ARABELLA'S POV:

I sensed that Iris was still holding herself at fault for the cause of my distress. However, it was not her fault. It happened due to a message I recieved from Eria before we finished.

"I do hope the next family shall treat you with kindness." Iris drew me close.
"You can't have anymore of this!"

I nestled against her. She gently removed my glasses. Clearly, she had the knack to clean them because when she returned them to me they were very easy and clear to see through. By God, I adored Iris so much.
"Did you ever have to wear glasses at one point?" I questioned her.

"I indeed did." said Iris.

"Returning to siblings," I said. "You mentioned you had a total of three?"

"I'm not fond of saying my fourth sibling," said Iris.
"We lost each other when we were the age of five."

"Wait," I questioned. "You're a twin?"

Iris gave a nod. "My twin was named Gracie. Though to me, she was Jess."

"I did not know she was your twin sister," I confessed.

"Well, you do now," said Iris, nibbling on her lip.

Anastasia and Wiliam arrived carrying in our drinks. I smiled.

"Cheers," I said

"One hot chocolate for you," said Anastasia placing it on the table before me.

"And a tea for dear Iris," said Wiliam putting it beside it.

I gently set Iris's hand on her cup.

"Enjoy, ladies!" Uttered Wiliam.

After that they went. Iris gently held me once more. I tried resisting the want to kiss her. Though I could not fight it any longer.

"Are you quite alright?" Iris heard my rather quick breathing.

"Yes," I replied. "Pray, why do you ask?"

"You sounded as though you were trying to resist doing something."

I let out a sigh. "I cannot say!" I took a deep sip.

"You are not stating the truth," said Iris with a chuckle. "You wish to kiss me. Isn't that right!"

I was about to nod, but I remembered Iris was completely Blind.
Yes. But it's a tad early, is it not?"

"Not really," said Iris. "Only one can truly know if they done it."

"Though I continue to think it's early," I stated.

"Quite alright," said Iris. "Where's my cuppa once more?"

I gently grasped her hand and guided it to her cup. Iris looked to me.

"Just let me know once you are ready."

I smiled to myself. She was so beautiful, and her lips were pretty.
"Alright, Ira."

Iris chuckled. "Hearing you say that is simply cute." She chuckled.

"Due to my accent?" I asked of her.

Iris grinned. "certainly."
She had a cuppa tea and then she gave a grin. "Do you play any musical instrument?"

"Yes," I said. "Accordion and guitar. I am aware that you play the piano as I have seen videos of you on your father's facebook timeline."

"I've got it, too!" Iris smirked.

"I wasn't certain, as you're fourteen," I replied.

It's the means by which I can contact Gracie," stated Iris.

Her phone sounded at that moment. She got it. Thankfully her screen was on. I noticed the name Cola. It has been a while since I last heard from her. I read what the message was saying over Iris's shoulder.

C: Please give my greetings. I truly miss you, Iris.

Iris smiled. "I was speaking with her about you."

"Do tell I say hi, once more," I said drinking some more of my drink.

Iris was quick sending her reply, for someone who couldn't see. Then she had another sip of her tea.

"Would you like me to play the piano?"

"If you wish to play for me," I replied.

Iris nodded, setting her cup on the table. I set my own cup down on the table and then stood up. Iris started walking to the door of the study. She knew her way very well. Good for her.
