Mia

Syn slammed the door on his way out and I completely broke down. Him and I hadn't talked at all since he got back and I didn't think it'd affect me this much. I didn't love him anymore, but he did play a huge part in my past and a huge reason why I did the things I did.

When he brought up my past in comparison to the situation I was in now, it felt like years of progress was going down the drain.

A small, tiny and minute part of me knew that he was somewhat correct, but I didn't want to believe it. How was I being immature when I was actively trying to choose one of them?

I loved and cared for the both of them dearly and I knew my hesitation was causing pain to the both of them. They both deserved an answer and that's why I needed a visual presentation of my odds with the both of them.

How can I follow my heart when it leads me to the both of them?

I sat down on my bed and wiped away my tears. My head was hurting from my argument with Syn, but with a few deep breaths I calmed down. A sudden tiredness began to wash over my and with a few sniffles, I moved my covers and crawled back into bed.

Hopefully I'd wake up with more of a clear mind so I can handle this shit...

"Get up," a deep voice said.

I could clearly hear the voice as if it were right next to me, but in my sleepy state, I ignored it and snuggled into my covers. A moment later, my blankets were pulled off my body with such a force that I sat up immediately.

I gasped when I looked down at my naked body and the breeze from the open balcony door in my room made me shiver. I could've sworn that I went to sleep with the door closed...

I looked up at the foot of my bed and saw Cain wearing an unbuttoned black button up shirt that exposed his tatted abs. The moonlight that shone through the room cast a mesmerizing light onto him but his eyes were what made me stay glued to my bed.

I looked between him and the open balcony door and my mind began putting the pieces together. "Why did you break in?" I asked softly.

"Shut your damn mouth," he said lowly.

Damn.

I stopped up from my bed immediately and glared at him. "Who the fuck do you think you are?"

His eyes slowly looked my naked body up and down before he took a step towards me. I usually wasn't afraid of him, but he looked terrifying right now. Yet, a small flame had ignited in me from the way his eyes roamed my body.

"I break in and you're getting turned on," he started as he stepped closer to me. I stepped back until I felt my back hit the wall and I tried to move to the side but he wrapped an arm around my neck and pushed me against the wall so roughly that I winced. "Answer me, Mia. Are you wet right now?"

"No," I answered. He smirked down at me and squeezed my neck so much so that I began gasping for air.

"Don't lie to me, you fucking slut," he said threateningly as he loosened the grip on my neck. "You've been lying enough."

"What are you talking about?" I whispered.

"Who do you want to be with, Mia?" He asked.
