Some cute, Anakin and Ahsoka fluff, pretty short

Kinda centering around Anakin? Idk

Enjoy :)

"We'd better get these tents up fast," Ahsoka started, throwing a heavy sheet over the framework for a tent. "Looks like rain." Anakin looked up towards his Padawan, then to the sky, trying to hide the faint smile on his face. She wouldn't have noticed had he kept his mental shields up but she could feel hints of excitement and joy coming through. She smiled, wondering why he was excited for rain.

"When do you think it'll start?" He asked, keeping his calm demeanor, joining in setting up another tent.

Ahsoka looked up towards the sky where she had seen storm clouds over to the east, heading their direction. "A couple hours, probably while we're sleeping. If we're lucky it'll stop before morning."

The sun had already set when the winds picked up and the sky clouded over. Ahsoka would have gone inside, but Anakin was practically looking for excuses to stay out; Finally he gave in, when Ahsoka told him they'd need sleep, trudging into their shared tent. The rest of the clones had already set up camp and were in their tents, so it made sense for them to as well.

The two laid down to rest, Ahsoka falling asleep first to the low roll of thunder off in the distance. When she awoke a few hours later, the sun barely rising over the horizon, Anakin was perched near the door of their tent where his hand was sticking out. She sighed.

He grew up on Tatooine. Of course he loves rain.

Anakin didn't notice her stirring until she was kneeling on the ground, removing her boots and outer tunic, only leaving a tube top and leggings in it's place. Anakin looked confused, his brow furrowed, retracting his now wet hand. He had seen her in that same tube top a few years before, it wasn't anything new, that's not why he was staring. There was no reason for her to-

Ahsoka crawled over to the door with a grin on her face. A grin that said, "are you coming?"

Her master instantly laughed, removing his own tunic and shoes so that he'd have something warm and dry to come back to, and followed her out into the pouring rain. The thunder was miles away, so Ahsoka wasn't worried.

She stepped out first. The chill of the rain shocked her, but it wasn't unwelcome. She stretched her hand out towards Anakin who was eager to join. When he was pulled out of the tent, he immediately laughed along with Ahsoka, feeling the same chill in his bones, staring up into the sky as he took in the beauty of the rain; something he rarely got to experience.

The last time he was able to enjoy the rain like this was when he was still a Padawan, just before the war broke out, it was raining on Coruscant. Him and Obi-Wan had just returned from a mission when it started pouring. He had insisted that his master join him, despite both their robes getting drenched and having to report to the council later that day, to which he finally agreed, knowing how much Anakin loved the rain.

It was refreshing to be able to do the same thing with his Padawan.

When the two of them were thoroughly drenched and tired out, it was after the rain had stopped. Rex was the first to wake up to their laughter as they shoved each other into the mud. The rain had reduced to a mist, to a point where he was fine with exiting the tent to ask them what the kriff they were doing.

"General, Commander?" He asked, confused, as he wandered over to where Anakin was picking his Padawan off the ground, half covered in mud.

Anakin smiled along with Ahsoka as they silently went to get new clothes. It was well worth their captain's confusion to get those few moments of childlike fun.

The ending could have been better, but c'mon I'm tired, I wrote this in twenty minutes lol

Have a good day/night/whatever and I'll see you when I see you :)
