NIV: For we live by faith, not by sight.
NCV: We live by what we believe, not by what we can see.
Meaning: This is such an important verse that i think all of you should remember. Its simple and quite to the point but it has so much meaning and depth to it at the same time. Non Christian people always question our faith by asking how do we know God's real if we cant see him? Thats like asking how do u know air is real even though you can see it? Just because you know. You just believe its true. You don't need too see everything just to know its there. You need to stand strong by your faith no matter what people question you or try to make you believe. Stand before God and stay strong. This verse reminded me of a song. Its called "one way" by Hillsong United. Theres ome part in the song and it goes like this
"You are the way the truth and the life
we live by faith and not by sight for you
were living all for you"
It talks about how Jesus the one and only way. One way to get to heaven and only way is through Christ. It says "we". We live by faith. When someone questions you about your faith you may feel in an uncomfortable situation but remember you're not in this alone. We, all of us Christians are in this together and we stand by eachother and support one another.
