Verse: Mark 12:30-31
NVC: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.'The second command is this: 'Love your neighbour as you love yourself.'There are no commands more important than these."
NIV: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."
Meaning: Loving you neighbour can be hard. But the bible tells us to love our neighbour as ourselves. To show them kindness. To treat them the way we would want to be treated. Hard, right? God says that this is the 2nd greatest commandment, the first being to love The Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind. Our God is so deserving of our praise and we need to love an trust him with all our heart, soul and mind! Recently at church, we (my Sunday school class:) has been looking at the 10 Commandments. You might think 'I've never broke these.... It's not like I've murdered anyone!'!... However some of these commandments include do not lie, honour your parents an don't take The Lords name in vain. As none of us our perfect, we have all broken these and it's important that we ask God to forgive us. But remember to show God you love him with all heart, all your soul, and all your mind. Cause he truly is an amazing, praise-deserving God❤
Take Action:
Check out the 10 Commanments and write them somewhere where you can see them and be constantly reminded of what God commands us to do! Also, strive to show love to everyone around you- your neighbour, your parents and your Heavenly Father:)
