Isaiah 41:10
NCV: So don't worry, because I am with you. Don't be afraid, because I am your God. I will make you strong and will help you; I will support you with my right hand that saves you.
NIV: So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Meaning: Fear is something that all of us have experienced before. Not only can you be afraid of the dark or spiders or stuff like that, but you can have fears like what others will think of you and stuff like that. Another type of fear which isn't really what they are talking about in this verse is how we can fear God... Not like being petrified of him, but meaning we have a sincere respect for him! In this verses, God encourages us by saying that through those times when we are afraid and think we have no one to turn to, God is there! He will give us strength when we need it and will never leave us, will always be there to support is and make us strong! It's so cool that the God who created the universe cares so so much about you and me and is always there for us, through our fears and everything!
Take Action: Next time fear has gotten the best of you, stop for a second and remember this verse. Repeat it over and over in your head and remember that God is always listening and always there for you! I found this cool quote/fact that totally fits in with this verse: "The phrase 'Do not be afraid' is written in the bible 365 times. That's a daily reminder from God to live everyday fearless"
