(So, this chapter is based on a Disney Princess movie for example: Tangled! Which is one of my favorites. But it's not exactly going to be played out like the movies, does that make sense? If it doesn't I apologize. It was also inspired MagicaLyss who did a chapter inspired by Tangled. I was inspired by her, so go check her out she's awesome!)
Anyway on with the story.

Peter lives in the kingdom of Alena, with his father, King Richard and his mother, Queen Mary. For eighteen years he had never left the castle grounds, and he never knew why. No matter how many times he brought it up to his parents, they refused to answer any and all questions.
Peter's curiosity got the better of him, and he decided he was going to sneak out of the castle. To experience the world for himself, so when curfew hit, he changed into discreet clothing and snuck past guards. He almost got caught a few times, but luckily he was able to get out the front gates.
He roamed the town streets, his people were celebrating a festival, the moonlight festival was an annual gathering that allowed the town's folk to come together and celebrate the moon at its glowing perfection.
As he walked through the crowded streets, he saw a young girl trying to get an apple from a vendor, so he walked up and paid for it and gave it to her. "Here you go." He said, the girl smiled gleefully at him. (Keep in mind Peter brought a little money with him.)
"Thank you!" She exclaimed, a boy around Peter's age came running up to the girl. He looked at her in worry. "Claire, I've been looking all over for you! You almost gave me a heart attack." He said, pulling the girl in for a hug.
"I'm sorry Harls, I was just hungry and I saw the apple stand. This boy bought me an apple." Claire said, pointing to Peter.
The boy looked up at Peter and smiled, "Thank you, I'm sorry if my sister caused you trouble." He said.
"Oh not at all, the apple was my treat." Peter replied.
The boy stuck his hand out, "I'm Harley, and this is my little sister Claire." Peter took his hand and shook it.
"I'm Peter, it's nice to meet you Harley and Claire." Peter looked past them and saw guards, they looked like they were frantically searching for someone, specifically him.
Harley looked in Peter's direction and saw the guards, he turned back to the brunette. "Are you in trouble?" He asked, Peter shook his head in response.
"N- no I'm fine, I'm just wondering what they're doing." Peter answered. After Harley saw the guards, he grabbed Peter and Claire's hands. Guiding them through the crowded streets and ducking into the safety of a house. Once they got in, Peter looked around.
He saw pictures of Harley and Claire, two adults were with them, smiling widely. He assumed that they were their parents. Harley stood beside him looking at the photo with him, "That's my mom and dad." He said.
"Your house is lovely." Peter told Harley, Harley gave a soft smile.
"Thanks, it hasn't been the same since my parents passed away a few years ago." Harley replied.
"Oh, I'm sorry." Harley shook his head, telling Peter it was fine, he had already tucked Claire into bed. So he gave Peter a pillow and blanket for him to sleep on the living room couch. "T- thank you Harley, you didn't have to bring me to your home, I'm sorry if I'm intruding." Peter said.
"N- no, it's okay, you seemed lost. I've never seen you around before and you helped my sister so thank you." Peter waved him off, insisting he was only wanting to do a good deed. Peter was worn out so Harley stepped away and let him get some rest, meanwhile the next day, Claire and Harley woke up getting ready for the day then began talking about their plans for the day.
Meanwhile Harley was too busy gazing at their new friend as he was peacefully sleeping on the sofa. Claire picked up on her brother's longing look and smirked, "You like Peter don't you?" Harley whipped his head back at her while gushing in his mind about how Peter looked so innocent and pretty.
"N... No I don't Claire! He's just a friend."
Peter stirred awake glancing over at the two siblings, his messy chocolate curls tangling with every movement. Which made Harley's heart swoon even more, Claire wasn't that interested in teenage love, as she herself wasn't a teenager yet. Peter got up and sat down next to Claire and gave a smile towards them both.
Harley handed Claire and Peter breakfast and then they began eating. Making small talk, mostly Claire bombarding questions she's had since the night before when she and Harley met the other boy. When Harley stopped her and changed the conversation, "Are you up for an adventure?" Harley asked, as Peter finished the last little bit of his breakfast.
Peter wore a confused expression, "An adventure?"
Harley smiled playfully, "Yeah! It may be risky and dangerous."
Claire rolled her eyes at her brother, he was prone to being dramatic at times. "It's not actually risky and dangerous Peter. My brother is just dramatic." Harley gave a pointed look towards his sister and she smirked.
"Anyway, are you up for it?" Peter nodded his head and then he and Harley headed out. Though he had no idea where they were going Peter was still excited to go on adventure.
Peter walked beside Harley until he stopped and Peter saw it... he looked across the vast mossy horizon, the glowing sun reflecting off the crystal blue water. His eyes lit up in wonder and excitement, Harley watched his reaction and beamed with glee. "It's so... beautiful." Peter said.
"Do you know how to swim?" Harley asked, seeing him shake his head, once he got the answer he turned and took some shorts out of his satchel and handed him a pair of shorts.
"What are these for?" He asked.
Harley chuckled, "They're for swimming Peter." Peter's mouth made an 'ohhhh' shape and they continued getting undressed and into proper attire. Once they were done, Harley looked at Peter, his shorts hugging his small frame as he crossed his arms around his torso. Realizing he had never done this before in his life.
Inching towards the water Harley held out his hands, "Do you trust me?" Harley questioned, Peter stared at his out facing palm, blushing, and knowing his answer immediately.
"Y... Yes." He stuttered, taking hold of Harley's hand and intertwining their fingers, slowly submerging into the and getting closer together. Once Peter and Harley were fully in the water, Harley had pulled Peter close to him. Peter was mesmerized, this place was like a dreamland, once Harley pulled them to the middle of the pond he looked towards the waterfall.
"Wanna head under the waterfall? There's a little nook you can hangout under." Harley suggested, Peter was intrigued, so Harley took that as a yes and they went to the waterfall and sat Peter up on the nook. And joined him, Peter couldn't believe how life was so... simple.
Harley was living the life he longed to have, tired of his parents expectations, tired of having to be a perfect son, and definitely tired of needing to prepare to become the ruler of an entire kingdom. Harley noticed the saddened expression he wore, wondering what was going on in that beautiful mind of his. "You okay Peter?"
"Yes, I'm fine. Don't worry about me." Harley had a hard time believing that. Peter was a pretty easy person to read, even in the short amount of time he knew the younger boy, especially when he tried hiding his emotions. It was also the same thing Claire often had to do whenever he himself was in a spot of trouble.
"You can tell me anything Peter, that's what friends are for." (Adrien Agreste needs to be taking notes lol.)
"It's just... my parents, they have these unbearable amounts of expectations for me. If I'm less than perfect or screw up in some way, they'll never get off of my back. There are some days where I can't breathe, and it's all too much. I just want to be a kid, I wish my life was..."
Peter trailed off before Harley perfectly summed up how he truly felt. "Simple?"
"Yes, exactly." He answered.
"Why don't you tell them that? Surely they'll understand right?"
Peter shook his head sadly, "No, it's not that easy. Though, I wish it was." Harley felt bad for Peter, it was clear he was a product of growing up too quickly. He wished his friend wasn't so isolated, Peter was a kind, intelligent, old soul. How could someone keep him from finding his passion? How could someone keep him from fulfilling his true potential?
Harley sighed, "You can't let your parents walk all over you, like you're some kind of doormat. You need to tell them the truth, scream at them if you have to."
"They won't listen, Harley. If you knew them, you wouldn't be saying this." They gazed into each other's eyes, a sense of security surrounded them. Peter got this warm tingling feeling, he and Harley sat close to each other, and once Harley cupped his cheek, leaning forward, Peter hesitated slightly.
"Harley, it's getting late. We should probably go." Harley nodded and the two of them started getting back to the shore, then heading back through the village, while they waited at a stall, Harley was talking to the vendor. Peter looked around and his eyes caught a tall, briskly man, and two other ones walking with him.
Peter recognized him, he was a bounty hunter, one of the most famous ones in the entire world. He and his crew worked for high class people, his parents must've hired them to find him, they were actually that desperate to get him back. He whipped his head out of sight and started tugging Harley back to his home after he got the food. "H... Hey! Pete, slow down! Are you okay? What's going on?!"
They got to the house and Peter immediately shut the door, pacing back and forth, slowly dissolving in panic. Harley was worried, what was happening, and before Peter could answer him, there was a knock at the door. Harley went to it and answered, Peter's heart sank, it was the bounty hunter's, they found him, and they were here to take him back.
(Before you guys say anything! Yes, there is a part two for this chapter. I had it planned out, so before you start asking for another part, let me just say; I'm already one step ahead of you lol.)
