Akron What Now? -Raph

Since it is my birthday and this update is late, I'm not going to wait till next Sunday to post. So enjoy this chapter❤

"You want to tell me why you have another boy tied up to a tree over there?" Raph crossed his arms.

Connor looked over his shoulder, momentarily making contact with a girl behind him. She shrugged and turned her attention back to what she was doing before. The sleeping boy squirmed in his sleep once Connor's gaze fell upon him.

"Okay, look. Clearly we are in the same situation here-"

"That's where you're wrong. I just want-"

"Raph let him speak. Maybe he can fill in the gaps for you since you are obviously confused about what is going on right now."

Connor looked over to you and raised a brow. "You say that as if you know everything about me."

You noticed the boy against the tree had woken up and was now complaining about the situation. "Aren't you gonna handle that?"

Connor hurried off to deal with the complaining preteen. You looked over to Raph. "Look, we just have to stick with them until they make it to the Graveyard. From there, we just stay put so we don't have to risk going to one of the harvest camps."

"What makes you think they will trust us? How do we know we can trust them?" Raph crossed his arms.

"I read the books remember? Even if they try to loose us, I know where they are going and what's going to happen. Just please do not go to the hospital with them okay?"

Raph raised an eyebrow. He opened his mouth to reply, but just shook his head and turned his attention back to the other three teens. He felt the less he knew about this fandom, the better off he would be. It would only cause confusion anyway.

"And what exactly will we do with a baby, Connor? Did you even think about what-" You placed a hand on Raph's chest before he could explode anymore than he already has.

"I couldn't just let him get storked. The woman clearly wasn't happy about having to take care of him." Connor pulled the baby closer to him.

"Yeah, well now you've once again exposed us to everyone!" Risa whisper shouted.

Currently, you were all on a school bus as an attempt to escape the juvey cops. The boy who was tied up earlier, Lev sat as far away from the rest of you as possible. Now that all of the seats were being filled, it became hard for you and Raph to keep in contact with Risa and Connor.

"Look, (y/n), I don't know how much longer I can keep this up."

"Yeah, well, that's because you hate taking orders from people. We need to stay with them until we can get to the Graveyard, then hopefully another portal will open and we can get out of here."

Raph grabbed your hand and looked out the window. "Still, I feel like something's off."

There was chaos everywhere. Students were running each other over trying to escape the supposed fire. You looked over your shoulder and realized that neither Risa nor Connor were anywhere around, and Lev was no where to be seen.

Suddenly, you were snatched out of the stampede of students and pushed up against a wall. You looked to your right and saw the same thing was happening to Raph.

"(Y/n), what happens next?!" He shouted.

"I- I don't know. They didn't get arrested in the book. None of this was supposed to happen yet." You shifted uncomfortably as the juvey cop handcuffed you.

"Shut up. I hate you Unwind runaways." The first cop mumbled as he threw you into the back of the car.

"I'd teach you a lesson if I could. You're lucky we need you unharmed in order to harvest you." The second cop said after he threw Raph into the car next to you.

"Trust me, I wouldn't be the one getting hurt, buddy." The officers laughed as they drove off. "Take these handcuffs off of me and I'll show you since this is so funny."

"Raph, shut up. There's no way out of this." You lowered your head. "I don't understand, something's wrong."

"You got that right. You're still talking. Now, I suggest you shut that pretty little mouth, Sweetheart." The first cop (let's call him Billy) says.

The other cop (Joe) grunts. "Whoever gets his eyes sure will be lucky." He looked back at Raph. "People pay a lot for green eyes."

Raph's eyes widened. "What do you mean, they pay a lot of money. What are you going to do to us?"

"Don't you know already boy? You're being taken to Happy Jack harvest camp."

"To pick vegetables?"

Joe and Billy chuckle. "No, stupid. They are going to take your body apart piece by piece and give them to other people who need/want your limbs and organs."
