That was until the day when they were forced to go to the surface. It was then that they found themselves taking on the threats that endanger the kingdom. While also making some new friends with four certain huntresses.

When four pet turtles were bathed in ooze, they began to mutate and became the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Raised in New York City sewers by their foster father and martial-arts Master Splinter, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael join their eldest adopted brother Kenshi who defends the city under the mantle of the Nightwatcher, wage war against crime. They stop evildoers in all forms, whether barbaric gangs, lowlife crooks, deranged cyborgs, or even the crime syndicate The Foot, led by their archrival, The Shredder.

After a messed up patrol leaving Mikey injured because of the three brothers, Splinter punishes them from going to the surface until they can learn to work and adapt with Michelangelo together. It is then that Donatello created a drug called the BIO (Bionic-Intelligence-Organism) that boosts Mikey's intelligence, his behaviour and his strength. Hoping that this will lift the punishment up, the three brothers went along with the plan and tricked Mikey into eating a pizza with the drug in it and soon the formula works For the time being, the BIO transformed Michelangelo for the better as he is more matured, a lot smarter, stronger and even better at things But as the drug gets stronger and stay longer in Mikey system, it begins to turn him into a different person, something cold, something opposite of who Mikey is...Something sinster Will the family find a way to reverse Mikey back to his natural self or will this dangerous new Mikey be their downfall? A retelling of my old TMNT story: The Lost Son In an alternate timeline, long ago, before the events of the 2003 series started, Splinter lost one of the turtles to Bishop when he and his men tried to capture them in the sewers. Believing the youngest one sadly perished, Splinter raised the remaining three, but is still haunted by the nightmares of the one he failed to save. However, sixteen years later, after the Shredder's demise, the family discovers a feral mutated turtle that has escaped from Bishop's lab and is on the run. They captured the feral turtle to whom Splinter believes is the lost son of the quartet. As time goes on, the turtles slowly get to know their possibly lost baby brother and start to open up to him as part of the family, and he, given the name Michelangelo, opens up to the others, too. But with his dark, tortured past haunting him and with Bishop hot on his trail, the family must stop Bishop and protect Mikey from being captured. But the real question is this ... Is the lost turtle the lost son, Michelangelo, or is he just a dangerous experiment from Bishop to destroy them?
