I was getting ready to leave the party, but was stopped by the photographer.
"Alexandra Crane? Sorry to interrupt, but can we please get a picture of you and Derek Jones together? We are just obsessed with y'all's relationship."
"I'm sorry, but we-." Derek cut me off, wrapping his arm around me.
"We'd love to. Say cheese baby and hold up the peace sign like this."
I couldn't help but to laugh at his goofy ass.

Gods Blessing...Christmas Day 2016
"Merry Christmas everybody!" Texas exclaimed as we walked in Miss C's house. We all exchanged gifts and ate some good Christmas dinner that Miss C prepared.
"Damn I'm stuffed!" Texas said sipping her wine.
"I'm not, I'm still hungry." I said stuffing more of the mac n cheese in my mouth. I saw Miss C staring at me like she just knew I was pregnant. I guess I made it obvious because I never would eat like this.
Miss Ruby and Derek came over just as the old people were about to play some games.
"What's up lightskin matters? No side chick today?" Star asked trying to start shit.
"NO! I can't stand that bitch." Miss Ruby said.
Miss C pulled me to the side. "So how far along are you?"
"What do you mean?" She gave me a stare.
"3 months." I responded. She thought about it for a second. She looked at me and looked back at Derek.
"Alexandra." She knew Derek was the father. "Does he know?"
"No, but Miss C, I don't wanna talk about it."
"Alright, I'm not gonna say anything else about it, but you know what you need to do."
Texas came in the kitchen with a burning question.
"So you and Derek were messing around at the party weren't y'all?"
I scoffed. "We did, I was horny and so was he." I continued to eat my chicken.
"It ain't any of my business, but just be careful Choo."
She went back into the living room to join in on the festivities.
Derek's POV
Alex was in the kitchen stuffing her face. "Damn, slow down or you finna' eat the plate?" I laughed at her, but she found nothing funny.
