Fayth walked inside the Ellis wing, quietly in case anyone was inside. She knew no one would be. Lexis had taken Bubbles out to the yard to play, and Vivian was hanging out in the F.A.I.T.H. wing like always.

Looking around the enormous apartment-like wing, Fayth searched around for the photos. It was only fair that she owned at least one of Anthony's. It never occurred to her to take pictures of him. He would often take pictures of them together on his phone, and Fayth had no clue where that was now.

She opened and closed drawers, wondering where the family pictures were. Surely there was at least one picture of him laying around.

Surely...

She opened a drawer on the night stand, and under some files, Fayth found a white vintage style picture frame. She lifted it up and turned it to see who was in the photo, and instantly a smile broke on her lips.

Anthony.

He was standing next to an old gray haired man. A beautiful blonde woman, who Fayth guessed was his mom, was standing behind him, her arms wrapped around his shoulder and Anthony was holding on to them lightly. It was almost too obvious how much love he had for his mother, and vise versa.

The old man next to them looked very healthy despite his age. His muscular built showed under the polo white shirt, and his back stood tall in great posture.

Fayth smiled.

What a nice thing to see...

As she looked at the picture longer, she realized this Anthony in the picture looked different.

There was something strange... The eyes... The eyes aren't Anthony's. Those eyes are sharp. Scheming. There was this indifferent and cold look to his face. Like a person that lost reason.

At the same time, it was something a lot more softer than Lexis' current expression.

Lexis?

But the Lexis now is so... How could this sweet looking boy be the terrible Lexis now? What could have possibly happened in his life that it all turned out to be the way it was now?

The door slammed shut.

Fayth jumped, startled, and dropped the photo, the frame shattering. Her body shook, wondering who it was that had come in. She was sure that no one would come in here now. Who was it? Vivian?

Oh, please God, let it be Vivian.

Shaking and not sure on what to do, she slid and hid under the dining table. She hugged her legs close, hoping she could be small enough that they wouldn't be able to see her.

She listened carefully to the footsteps. Her heart squeezed in fear when she realized they weren't the familiar rhythm of Vivian's. They were someone else's.

Summer walked in, having followed Fayth here. She wondered what she would be doing in the Ellis wing. Surely she wouldn't have began to form a relationship with Lexis. Didn't she believe what Summer told her last time?

She looked around, wondering where she was. Summer was sure she had walked in here. She must have hid at the sound of the door shutting. It seemed like Lexis wasn't in here either. Its not like they were in a secret relationship or anything. And its not like Lexis had found out the truth about her.

Why would she come here? Is she trying to secretly dig dirt on Lexis to get out of the marriage proposal?

Summer began to look around randomly, as if she was searching for Lexis.

For one, Fayth Armstrong scared her. She definitely didn't want the demon to think she was trying to piss her off. In the same wave of feelings, she didn't want her to be with Lexis. Lexis was Summer's best friend. They've known each other since they were kids. Summer was the only one that knew him. Inside and out. Whether it be a day or a year later, she knew in the depth of her heart that Lexis will only see her as a safe haven. No one else.

She accepted him, despite everything she knew.

"What are you doing in here?"

Summer twirled around, startled by Lexis' sudden presence. He had just come in and had paused with his hands in his slacks pockets, staring at Summer with watchful eyes.

"I–I..."

His jaw tightened.

Summer's eyes swarmed the place, wondering where Fayth was hiding.

This is perfect... I can change everything this way.

It was a perfect plan. Fayth should just hear what Lexis' colorful past looked like. She'll definitely pull out of his life then. There is no way she'll ever look at him the same way again.

Summer allowed herself a secret smile and looked at Lexis. "I came here because we need to talk about something."
