Fayth slept though she had no idea when, and she wasn't completely thankful for it. Yes, it had made her motionless and unaware of her feelings anymore, and yes, it gave her candy its time to heal her, but when she fell asleep, she had one of the worst nightmares she'd ever experienced.

How vivid, how clear it was. It didn't feel like she was dreaming at all. It felt as if she was living it. It was what made it so terrifying. She jumped up in bed and looked around, out of breath at the fear that took over her whole body. Her legs and arms started to shake violently, and tears escaped her eyes without a sound.

She nudged Jessie, who had taken over Charles' position and was now asleep in the chair next to the bed. He awoke, almost startled, and looked over at Fayth, glanced at her body, and then looked back at her face.

"Rihanna, what's wrong? Are you okay? Why are you shaking like this?"

She shut her eyes as the memories of the nightmare still lingered in her head, and the tears flowed down continuously. "Nightmare." She breathed.

She wanted him to stay awake so she knew what was real and what was not.

He climbed in bed with her, and held her there in his arms. She couldn't say anything. She was too sleepy, too tired to say anything. Regardless of how awake her pain was, she still need more sleep, craved it even.

"What happened?" He asked in a low tone.

"Hmm?"

"Tell me what happened. What made you sick like this Rihanna? What took you under?"

It was a replica of what Lexis had asked her. It was as if he'd requested from Jessie to figure it out.

She told him what happened during the race. Not including any details, just a very general description. She hoped as she explained to him that he'd take the distraught emotions she had experienced as anger towards the boy who pushed her.

When she was done, there was a long silence followed, and her consciousness was being taken away slowly by sleep. Finally, Jessie asked. "What's his name?"

"I dunno." Fayth slurred. "Second? I think he came second."

She could almost feel the back of his hand on her forehead as she drifted back into deep sleep.

She slept peacefully for the rest of the night. When she woke up the next morning, she felt groggy and very thirsty. The fever was completely gone, her body was no longer numbed down by the amount of medication she had taken yesterday, and as she moved her body to sit, a loud shriek of pain escaped her lips.

She laid back down against the pillow as Jessie came out of the bathroom, drying his face with a towel. When he saw her awake, a smile spread across his face and he walked over to her.

"You're awake." His tone showed how happy he was.

She closed her eyes.

"How are you feeling right now?"

Tears fell uncontrollably from her eyes as the merciless pain cruised through her ankle.

"My ankle." She whispered. "It hurts."

Jessie stared at her for a solid five seconds. He walked over to the end of the bed and lifted up the blanket. She watched as his expression completely changed into utter shock.

He tried to mask it. "Come on." He ushered.

He slipped his arms under her and lifted her up, then walked as fast as he could out of the dorm.

"Ow." Pain shot through her leg in agonizing shots from the excessive movement. She, on the other hand, held her tongue from whining anymore. She had to hold it in, and so she tried her best to focus on other things that could take her mind from the awful pain.
