When Rihanna woke up, she found herself in a white room. The familiar place looked very much like a hospital, however, the label on the door confirmed it was Dawn's infirmary.

The registered nurse came in from the door, looking down on a clipboard in her hand. She looked up at Rihanna and smiled, showcasing wrinkles under her blue eyes.

"Oh. You've woken up."

"Did I fall asleep?"

"You actually fainted." She said, "Then eventually fell asleep."

She came over and sat in the chair next to the bed. "Honey, Rihanna, is there something you'd like to tell me?"

"Come again?"

She cleared her throat. "Medically, are there... any problems?"

Rihanna shook her head with a blank expression. "No. None that I know of."

They stared at each other's eyes for a moment before the nurse sighed and stood up. "Fine. It's up to you whether you want to tell me the truth or not."

Rihanna frowned. "But I am telling the truth. Are you saying that there is something wrong with me?"

"Well, not quite. You see, I drew some blood and ran some basic tests. Its just that a few things came up caused by a number of medications. There is no way I'd find out what they are unless I transfer you to a hospital. Are you sure you're not under any specific medication?"

Rihanna shook her head.

She sighed again. "Alright then. I have another student inside, and you're fine to leave whenever you'd like. Make sure to drink a lot of water, and I recommend checking into a hospital when you can. Even though we are permitted to do some things here, you will have better test results in a hospital."

Rihanna nodded and stood to her feet. Feeling a little light headed, she held on to the bed rail and waited out the blood rush. Then slowly, she put on her shoes and made her way to the door. She could tell she wasn't feeling any better, but decided to continue her rest in her dorm on her own bed.

What mostly disturbed her was, she never sees him. For a while it felt to her as if he didn't exist in the Academy. So why out of all the classes he could have shared with her and she could have easily skipped, did he have to be in her most beloved class?

"Hey."

Rihanna stopped walking and looked at a girl with curly blonde hair and green eyes. She could recognize right away she was one of Dawn's Angels.

"Yes?"

"Professor James wants to talk to you."

"Oh." Rihanna frowned with confusion, wondering what he wanted to say to her. Her heart sank with fear at the idea of him suddenly changing his mind about her.

She walked while the girl in front of her led the way toward the place Professor James wanted to see Rihanna. When they reached the unfamiliar classroom, she pointed at it and said, "He said to wait for him here."

She smiled politely and left.

Rihanna took ahold of the door handle, but nearby noises caught her attention. She looked to her left, where another classroom door was.

She slowly began walking to it, wondering what all the commotion was about.

When she reached it, she curiously looked into the glass part of the door, and saw Joshua standing there, lips duct taped and arms and feet tied. He stood against the wall, his eyes exhausted, dried blood making two lines out of his nostril, and a blue-green color forming around his left eye.

A group of the Chiefs sat in the desks around, some on top, some against, looking at Joshua with smirks on their faces. Beyond their flawless looks, all Rihanna could see was ugly.

This is what it looked like...

Lexis sat in a chair facing Joshua, his long legs crossed. He was facing the other way so Rihanna couldn't see his face.

In his hands, he held tiny knives.

Rihanna's heart pounded uncomfortably with confusion. What's happening? What are they doing to him?

She looked back at Joshua. He looked drained. Rihanna's eyes darted to something above him.

A dart board hung on the wall, positioned right above his head, with a knife already pieced into it.

Rihanna's eyes darted back to Lexis' hand. She let out a strangled breath. It can't be... How can someone be so merciless? Is he really...

This has to end. It needed to end.

She looked back at Joshua, and instantaneously, he glanced up and looked at her. At first, his dazed head couldn't recognize her, but when he did..

His eyes opened in horror, as if he saw a ghost.

She took a hold of the door's handle.

Joshua slightly shook his head, as if to tell her not to do it.

Lexis, noticing the interaction, sprang his arm back, getting a knife ready to be thrown at Joshua.

This has to stop.

She threw the door open–the loud noise of it echoed through the empty halls, and ran towards Joshua, covering the front of his body with hers.
