"Peper it's dangerous." You sit down on a chair picking up a pen. "With me being a hero. The villains will kidnap you and use you as a bargain. So I think we should break up."
You stand up expecting her to just agree with it.
"No" Pepper responds with a stern look on her face.
"No?" You repeat. "But thin-"
Pepper stops you before you could finish your word.
"We won't break up just because you are afraid." She puts the telephone down. "I know you will always protect me. I know we have to be more careful. But I trust you and I always will."
You stand there baffled in all the ways you had imagined this to go this wasn't one of them.
