Smoker x Reader (🎄)

Smoker was working on some reports when all of a sudden his door swung open.

Smoker was ready to strike until he saw you by the door.

You- "MERRY CHRISTMAS SMOKER!!"

Smoker grunted and sat back down.

Smoker- "What the hell are you doing here (Y/n)? Shouldn't you be home with your family?"

You- "Yeah but then I decided to come by and see my favorite Marine."

Smoker- "Aokiji isn't here.."

You giggled.

You- "I mean YOU silly!!"

Smoker- "Go home.."

You then went over and sat on his desk.

You- "Why do you always push me away? Can't you see that its Christmas??"

Smoker- "So?"

You- "Sooooooo, I got you a present!"

You then placed a small box in front of him.

Smoker- "Your present is on my report.."

You- "Soo open it."

Smoker sighed in defeat as he picked up the box.

Smoker- "(Y/N), you better start running if this is smoke detector..."

You giggled at the thought.

Smoker then opened the box to find some sunglasses.

Smoker- "What is this (Y/N)."

You- "They're sunglasses silly!"

Smoker- "I realize that, what I meant is what the hell did you get me this for?"

You- "I don't know, I thought that maybe you'd want to change your look for a change...they'd look pretty nice, so I thought about you."

Smoker then looked at the sunglasses for a bit before opening the flaps to place them on himself.

You smiled.

You- "You look good."

Smoker then chuckled and took them off.

Smoker- "Its too dark out to put them on...but I'm certain I will make use for them someday."

You smiled and kissed his cheek.

Smoker rolled his eyes but chuckled at his jolly girlfriend.

He then opened his dresser and reached in to pull out a little present.

Smoker- "I got you something to."

You stared at the present in shock.

Smoker NEVER got you something for Christmas.

So this caught you by surprise.

You- "Oh Smoker....you shouldn't have.."

Smoker- "I know...but I wanted to.."

You took the box and carefully opened it.

A ring.

You looked at the beautiful diamonds on the ring.

You were so enchanted by the rock that you didn't even notice Smoker had gotten up from his chair.

But when you did, he had already got down on one knee.

Smoker- "Will you marry me?"

You didn't know whether to cry or giggle.

So you did both.

You- "Smoker...are you serious?"

Smoker- "As serious as your unexplainable love for Christmas."

You squealed as you got on your knees to hug Smoker.

You- "Oh Smoker...yes...yes I will marry you.."

You then pulled back and watched Smoker place the ring on you.

You looked at the ring as it sat perfectly on your ring finger.

You then looked up at Smoker and planted a sweet kiss on his lips.

After a few seconds you pulled back and hugged him again.

Smoker- "Merry Christmas (Y/N).."

You giggled.

Smoker had NEVER said those words to you before.

Maybe your Christmas spirit was finally rubbing off on him.

You wondered how long it would take for him to wear matching sweaters?

Or even matching pijamas?

'One step at a time' you thought to yourself.

It took him 3 years for him to even SAY those words.

You'll just have to wait alittle bit longer.

You- "Merry Christmas Smoker."
