((This is a continuation to my Child Katakuri one shot, this was requested by LadyBune))

Ever since you agreed to marry Katakuri as kids you couldn't help but wonder if its just a childhood crush. Its been 20 years and now you are both full grown adults, even though Katakuri grew into a very tall man. But you feel that you aren't fit to be his wife.

Why the insecurity?

Ever since his sister Brulee got hurt, Katakuri has been very cold. He makes sure all of his tasks go without flaws. He always makes sure everything is perfect because he is a perfectionist. You didn't mind it, he was indeed perfect, so perfect that you start to think that he is just too good for you.

Katakuri became one of the Sweet Commanders and the Minister of Flour, and you are just a baker.

There was nothing special about you and you know it. You can even flat out tell which batch of donuts were made by you, because the designs were not perfect. Your donut making skills were very impressive, but your pattern drawings skills were just terrible. You grew worried that Katakuri probably thought little of you because your donuts just didn't suit him. As a perfectionist he would want donuts that fit in his description.

Although your boss didn't mind the messy pattern, you did. A good amount of your donuts were sent to people that request them, especially Katakuri.

He has merienda every single day and you were always in charge of getting the donuts over to his palace. And you know it shouldn't matter but you were always embarrassed to put your batch into his delivery. There were even times that you wouldn't even add your donuts into the shipment. You know Katakuri hates your donuts, he probably just removes the frosting pattern off of them so he wouldn't have to look at them. No, probably the sight of them would ruin his appetite completely.

"(Y/N!)"

You- "Oh! um..y-yes?"

"It's almost time to deliver the donuts for Katakuri, is the shipment ready??"

You- "Oh um...yes...one more minute and I'm off."

Today's shipment has none of your donuts, there are times that you would have to add your donuts in but your insecurity just refuses to give the perfectionist such a batch on imperfect donuts.

You arrived at Katakuri's palace and the guards led you through the gate. You and a few of the other servants carried the large shipment of donuts for Katakuri's merienda. Once arrived to the usual room, the cart was placed next to his chair and as the servants leave, you checked the donuts to make sure all of them were present.

"(Y/N)."

You turned around and saw Katakuri entering the room.

You- "Hello Katakuri, I was just making sure all of your donuts were here."

Katakuri- "If you are the one in charge, I'm certain they are."

You giggled a bit.

You- "Well, don't let me keep you, enjoy the donuts Minister."

Katakuri- "Thank you (Y/N)...Its nice to see you again.."

You- "Its nice to see you too, I missed spending time with you, but I understand you have been very busy."

Katakuri- "I'm sorry for that (Y/N)."

You- "Its okay, we all have our duties to carry on."

Katakuri nodded and walked towards the cart of donuts as you were about to head out.

But before you could reach the door knob.

Katakuri- "(Y/N)."

You- "What is it?"

Katakuri- "Who is in charge of picking the donuts for me?"

You- "I am."

Katakuri- "All the time?"

You- "Yes...why? what's wrong?"

Katakuri- "Why do you hardly give me the donuts you've made?"

You turned around and saw he wore a sad look in his face, and you couldn't help but feel bad about it.

You-"I-I'm sorry Katakuri, its just that you are known to be so perfect and I didn't want to ruin your appetite with my awful looking donuts."

Katakuri- "Why do you say that?"

You- "Katakuri...you've seen my donuts, they are nothing compared to the other bakers. I just thought a person like you would prefer to have a perfect donut each time."

Katakuri then took off his scarf and threw it in some unknown corner and walked up to you. He always shown you his face, even after he started covering it with a scarf. You can say that he's always had a soft spot for you.

Katakuri- "(Y/N), what do you see?"

You- "...I see a perfect man."

Katakuri- "You see that...but all I see is a monster."

You- "no no no, you're not a monster Katakuri, don't ever call yourself that.."

Katakuri- "But it's true...look at me, my face is disgusting to look at."

You- "No don't say that.."

You walked up to him and patted on his knee so he would kneel down, which he does. You then placed your hands on his cheeks and you saw that he somewhat relaxed under your touch.

You- "You see yourself as a monster, a Pelican Eel, or whatever monster but that's not how I see you. I see the perfect man that I met 20 years ago, the man that I grew to love, the man that I shared the best memories of my life with, so please don't ever think yourself so lowly. You will always be perfect in my eyes, no matter what."

Katakuri then placed his fingers over your hands and you mentally giggled because his hands were a whole lot bigger than yours.

Katakuri- "That is exactly how I think when I see your donuts."

You- "what?..."

Katakuri- "You see your donuts as ugly and unworthy, but to me they are the best ones I have ever had. Because they remind me of the day I met you, the day you became my friend, and accepted me for who I was, even though I have imperfections. So please, don't ever hide your donuts from me, give them to me, help remind me why I asked you to marry me."

You felt tears running down your face and Katakuri's eyes suddenly saddened. You giggled at his worriness and placed your lips on his.

You and Katakuri shared a long passionate kiss that you didn't feel Katakuri lift you. He then walked towards his snack area and he lied on his snack bed, keeping you on top of him. This was not the first time you and Katakuri shared a kiss, you two would kiss ever so often, when you two get the chance that it. But you knew being insecure was pointless, because he would just remind you why you were perfect in his eyes. After a while you pulled back to catch your breath and he gently stroked your cheek.

Katakuri- "Do you still want to marry me?"

You- "Of course, I never stopped thinking about it ever since you asked me the first time."

Katakuri- "Neither have I."

You- "Hehehe, so when do you want to get married?"

Katakuri- "How about right now?"

You- "Right Now?! But what about your Merienda?"

Katakuri- "It can wait."
