Wining this means a great deal to me as I certainly hope that this will gain Power more exposure and that people will spread the word about this as I joined the contest as this is one of my plans to gain exposure as a beginner writer as my lifelong dream is to become a successful author like J.K. Rowling, Jodi Picoult, Catherine Doyle and Charlotte Bronte as well as Faith Ng. So thank you so much  @litwits_award for giving me 1st place- it really means the world to me. And I am so glad you enjoyed Power! ♡

1 what's your schedule regarding your writing?

I usually write during late Nov until 1 Jan (of the next year) as I schedule my writing time during my school holidays as I have no time to sacrifice during schooldays.

2 What's one wattpad goal?

One of Wattpad goals would definitely be part of the Paid writers programme!

3 who is your favorite author? 

I have so many favourite authors, but right now I love Sarah J. Maas! Kingdom of Ash is amazing! If possible, please check out "Throne of Glass"! ♡

4 if you could hang out with your favorite celeb for a day, who would you choose and what would you do?

That's a tough question! Right now I think I will want to meet Megan Boone, the actress who plays one of the main characters in "The Blacklist" and her character is Special Agent Elizabeth Keen. I will love to chat with her and ask her when will her character and her character's partner, Donald Ressler (played by Diego) get together haha.

 5 what's a song you enjoy? Who is the artist? 

I love too many songs from a huge variety of genres, and if it's KPOP, any of IU's for sure! If it's country music, well... TAYLOR SWIFT! For Chinese music, I love Hebe Tien, JJ Lin and G.E.M. as well as A-Lin.

6 what's your dream vacation? 

HARRY POTTER WORLD IN LONDON

7 what's your favorite thing about Wattpad?

My favourite thing about Wattpad is definitely the friendships I form here. The people here are extremely lovely and wonderful and without them, I would have had a tough time finding out how Wattpad worked and how to be discovered more by readers.

 8 what inspired you to write? 

I honestly think that my love for reading inspired me to write. Whenever I read, I tend to realise that all writers have various styles of writing, which intrigued me. It was at the age of 10 where I decided to experiment with my writing as my teachers, peers and family had been complimenting me on my essays. Additionally, when I write, I like to think that one day, somebody will like my crazy ideas and that maybe a fandom (hhaha) will be created because of my works.

9 what's your favorite snack? 

Currently my favourite snack is bubble milk tea!!!

10 what's your favorite book? 

Impossible question to answer. Can I say Power hahah (just kidding!). My all time favourite has got to be from Jodi Picoult "19 Minutes". Please check it out, it's an amazing book.

11 how would you celebrate a publishing deal?

Wow! A PUBLISHING DEAL WILL BE A DREAM COME TRUE OMGGG. I think I'll celebrate by sharing the news with my closest friends and my family, and celebrate on separate days. I will definitely order chilli crab- a local favourite delicacy in my beloved country, Singapore. (Maybe I'll splurge and order like 3 crabs hahah) and perhaps I'll order mooncake too!!

I only have one book at the moment, and as I've mentioned before, I will write the next book in the Power series as long as the first book, Power, is well-received. And I really think I may be writing a second book this late Nov and Dec (only late Nov and Dec cos I have very important exams this year (#RIP).

From a reader's perspective, you should read Power as it has some romance, plenty of mystery, suspense and action-packed scenes (certainly enough to keep you at the edge of your seats ;)). There is vivid description too, and those who love attention to detail should definitely give my book a try. I did my best elaborating the details of clothes and rooms for example (and this part was inspired by The Selection series by Kiera Cass)-> I really loved the descriptive touch, which is why I added it in mine.

From a writer's perspective, I mean this book is my blood, sweat and tears. I literally pulled my hair out whenever I find major loopholes in my book (now corrected), wrong details about CHARACTERS' EYE COLOUR (UGH!) and like I spent my holidays workingextremely hard on it. If you can read until chapter 10, I will be very grateful cos at least you checked it out. If you complete it, please drop me a DM so I can thank you!! ♡♡♡
