Contest: Brewing flair awards
Placement: 1st place in werewolf/vampire

I got first place in the most recent Brewing Flair awards for the Werewolf/Vampire category.

1 what's your favorite holiday and why?

My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I get to visit family and eat good food, but it's also a time of, well, Thanksgiving.

2 what's your schedule regarding your writing?

I write whenever I can.

3 how would you spend a rainy day?

I would spend a rainy day writing, watching movies, or playing video games.

4 if you could hang out with your favorite celeb for a day,who would you choose and what would you do?

I would hang out with Steve Carell. We'd get coffee and talk about a variety of subjects. Then, we'd see an A24 movie and talk about it afterwards.

5 what's a song you enjoy? Who is the artist?

What luck! The song is playing in the dining area where I'm eating as I type this; it's "Easier Said" by Sunflower Bean. They're an indie band from New York, and they like to channel Fleetwood Mac within their style. I recommend giving the song a listen. To be fair, you've probably heard it before, in a supermarket or a clothing store.

6 Who is your favorite author?

Kohei Horikoshi. I know it might be cheating, as he's a Japanese mangaka. But I really love what he's doing with all the characters in My Hero Academia.

7 what's one Wattpad goal?

My Wattpad goal is to finish the stories I've started but haven't finished. Hopefully I get around to that.

 8 what's your dream vacation?

It almost feels insensitive of me to answer this, as I'm going to New York over Thanksgiving; that very well may be the defining trip of my adolescence

 9 what's your favorite book?

Besides the Bible? Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. I haven't even read the whole thing and it's already changed the course of my life forever. At least, the 2012 film did.

10 how would you handle a bully?

If it is in the form of a joke, laugh with the bully. If it is in the form of verbal abuse, diplomatically communicate that the words are unwanted. If it is physical violence, turn the other cheek. Whatever form it takes, always make an effort to understand the bully inside and outside, so that you may be able to help them overcome the issues causing them to be mean to people.

11 what's a good piece of advice for a newcomer?

Be unique. Even at the cost of making a quick buck or a quick sense of approval from the mass majority. I cannot stress this enough. So many people try to appeal to the main sector of Wattpad readers with smutty romantic stories that, on most occasions, fail to have meaningful messages that stick with the reader; this approach is vapid and unfulfilling, and, in all likelihood, it will not prepare you for the time when you begin to write creatively for a living. Do not conform to the ideologies of the most popular of Wattpad's content; instead, be an outlier, writing from personal experiences, reaching within yourself to write something only you, yourself, could write. Furthermore, learn to write with significant skill and a voice that is unique to you.

 Request time!

It would mean a lot to me if you tried out The Pawprint Mural. I have a prologue and six chapters up for it so far. In my opinion, it's beyond a shadow of a doubt the best work I've posted on Wattpad in my 4 year history of being a member. If you like Werewolf stories, and you're looking for an alternative take that doesn't rely on smut to get its messages across, I'm pretty sure it'll be something you'll enjoy.
