I recently placed Runner-up in the Anchor awards. This meant a lot to me! I've been very insecure about my writing for such a long time, so the fact that someone liked it enough to place me Runner-up, is a massive boost to my self-confidence. It gives me the motivation I need to keep writing, to keep getting better and maybe one day earn first place!

1 what's your favorite book?

My favorite book (series) is Harry Potter. I am a massive HP nerd. JK Rowling is the one who inspired me, and will always inspire me, to write to the best of my abilities. I have learned so much from her books.

2 what's your favorite holiday and why?

My favorite holiday is when I went to Venice, Italy two years ago. Not only was it my birthday while I was on holiday there, and was Venice gorgeous, I also got engaged during that holiday :)

3 how would you spend a rainy day?

I'd spend a rainy day curled up on the sofa in a blanket, reading a good book with the sound of the rain in the background. I'll make myself a hot chocolate, too.

4 if you could hang out with your favorite celeb for a day, who would you choose and what would you do?

I don't really have a favorite celeb, although if I met JK Rowling I'd love to go to dinner with her and talk about writing all night.

5 what's your schedule regarding your writing?

My writing schedule, at the moment, is terrible. I have a tendency to get distracted by other things on Wattpad. For example, I'm an admin for a book club, I am a reviewer, I'm in three different book clubs, I judge for several contests, and I've recently become ambassador as well. I really need to set up a schedule again, because it's taking me way too long to write a chapter. My perfect schedule would be writing for an hour every day and a few hours in the weekend. It's hard to stick to that though!

6 what's a song you enjoy?Who is the artist?

My favorite singer at the moment is Tom Odell. I love the sound of the piano and he is amazing with it. His voice isn't even the best, but his songs completely make up for that. My favorite song is Another Love. Beautiful.

7 what's one Wattpad goal?

I've actually just achieved one of my Wattpad goals: to become an ambassador! I was so excited when I got accepted. Another goal is for one of my books to be featured by Wattpad. This would mean the world to me. I'd also love to win a Watty's one day... A girl can dream, right?!

8 how would you celebrate a publishing deal?

I would probably cry of happiness if I got a publishing deal. I'd do something fun with my fiancé to celebrate, and then use the money I earn from the deal to buy new writing equipment.

9 Who is your favorite author?

As I mentioned before, my favorite author is JK Rowling. A few other I really like are Terry Pratchett and Brandon Sanderson.

10 what's your dream vacation?

My dream vacation is anywhere hot. I'm not good with cold, so I like hot countries. I'd really like to go to Australia some day, because my fiancé keeps telling me how amazing it is there.

11 what's your favorite snack? 

I've got lots of favorite snacks, I have a real sweet tooth... For the past three years I've lived in England (I'm originally from the Netherlands) and one thing I've really missed, was liquorice. Dutch liquorice is the best. I love having a cup of tea in the afternoon with some liquorice.

My best book, at the moment, is After the End. It's about a girl who, after her death, can't remember anything from her life. She goes on a journey to find out everything she's forgotten. The journey becomes an adventure when she finds out her beloved little brother is in life-threatening danger because of her. As a Soul in the world of the living, there isn't much she can do. But she'll have to do everything to save her brother. Anyone who likes a good YA fantasy or paranormal, will love my book too! :)
