Daithi De Nogla- Do you love me?

I stood at lui's car. Waiting for him to show up with David. So we can get out of schools perimeters.

I saw them coming my way. Lui was in his normal cheery self, but David was in deep thought. That never happens.

"Hey guys!" I say.

They both say hi back.

"Um my mom is going to pick me up today, so I'll see you guys later." David says before leaving.

I look at Lui and he just shrugs. I get in the passenger seat while he got in the drivers seat.

We pulled out of our jail's parking lot, going to my house.

"I think you should tell him, like soon." Lui says.

"He probably doesn't even like me, probably thinks we're just Best Friends. Nothing more, nothing less." I say.

"David is a nice guy, he probably really likes you."

"If only I can just tell him how I feel, no chickening out. Just pour the words out of my heart."

"Haha. This is like a cliché movie scene."

"Yeah, the girl always gets rejected."

I get out of the car, since lui was already at my house.

"I'll see you tomorrow? Are you going?" I asked.

"Well yeah. I have to work it." Lui says.

"Okay, I'll see you tomorrow."

I walked up to my house and unlocked the door, thinking about tomorrow.

So today is the city's talent show. So I volunteered to help around, so I was stuck with security. All because my dad's chief of police, so everybody thinks I'm super tough.

So now I'm in a uniform of skinny jeans and a black t-shirt that has security on the back.

I guess lui is greeting everyone who enters the building.

I'm not sure about David, I don't think he volunteered. It's strange about him, he has been acting really strange.

"Hey (y/n) can you take this over to the neighbors." My mom yelled.

I slipped on my last black Nikes before going over to her. She had this container full of cookies.

"(David's mom's name) wanted to try these, so could you take them over for me?" My mom asked.

"Ah sure." I say.

I grabbed the container and headed next door, David's house.

I knocked a few times before David's mom opened the door.

"My mom wanted to drop off some cookies, and a recipe." I say.

"Could you come in and put them on my counter please." She asks.

I walk in and put the cookies on the counter.

"Um wheres David?" I asked.

"He is at the dry cleaners getting his tux for the show tonight."

The front door opened, and I heard David laughing with a girl?

David walks in the room with a really beautiful blonde girl.

"Oh hey (y/n)!" David says.

"Hey." I choked out.

"This is Caroline, my girlfriend."
