As the days in Mrs. William's class passed, Chloe remained engulfed in the world of books. She even brought her Kindle to class occasionally to read fan fiction whilst in the middle of a lesson. But she was passing with flying colors, so the bright-headed teacher didn't seem to care at all. It's almost as of she could pay attention and read at the same time. It was miraculous.

Emily and Lauren were trouble makers, but not in the illegal sense. They said stupid things like "Talk crap, get slapped", throughout class and giggled profusely about it. It was extremely funny and annoying at the same time. After their third detention, they got suspended for a week and moved away from eachother. But that didn't stop them. The would yell over the class, no matter how private the situation was. Lauren would scream things like "Can I borrow a tampon?" and Emily would reply with "You know I only use pads, ya dipshit", and they would get detention again. It was almost like a game. See how much we can get detention in one week. It was a lot. You know how there are only five days in a typical school week? Well, somehow, they could get detention eight times a day. How do they even do that? Detention every class period? But then again, there are only seven class periods. Eventually, around February, they were expelled and got home schooled together by Lauren's mom's friend. They still got detention daily.

Ricky, Nicole, Bob, and Joe weren't exactly the most cutout group. They talked every now and then, but all they really did was talk about the lower-classmen. They talked about how they wish they didn't wait so long to take a typically freshman class. Except for Nicole. She didn't really talk a whole lot. But she did have friends. They just weren't in this class. At the end of the year she had to spontaneously move to California and noone ever really figured out exactly why. Joe didn't give a shit. Bob was the shit talker. Ricky talked about the lower-classmen, but the one that were his Internet friends. He also talked about how ducks were trying to kill him. I guess on his walk to school, he passed the duck pond. He apparently has to run from them everyday. Partway through the year, a foreign exchange student from Poland visited. Their name was Gladis, and she was pretty social with everyone. She told people what their names were translated into Polish and all around she was a pretty popular girl in the class.

Mikey jumped between the freshman group consisting of Lilly and Rachel, and Ray's group consisting of Sam. But Mikey was never too caught up in another group to talk to Rachel about her newly acquired crush. You guessed it, Lilly was who Rachel was swooning over. Mikey finally helped Rachel build up the courage to ask Lilly out. She acted unexcited on the outside when she replied with "Let me sleep on it", but her inner fangirl came out when she told Raina and Montahna about the experience. The next day, after much stamina - draining fangirling, Lilly said yes to Rachel's request. And now they are indeed OTP. Mikey, on the other hand, was pursuing Emily. He could never ever do it because of Emily's short attention span. He talked about Emily to Ray and Sam, but noone really knew anything about her. In all honesty, Lauren and Emily were eachother's best friends. No exceptions. Mikey wouldn't catch Emily's attention until later, and then they wouldn't even be attending Belleville (because of the suspension).

Sam and Ray were definately best friends. They could confide in eachother like it was no one's business. And it never was anyone's business. None of them ever let a single secret spill. They were those best friends. Sam and Ray snuck out together periodically to go see a movie or something, but soon Sam was banned from Ray because her parents thought they were dating. That didn't stop them though. They're still in touch and have took an oath to always be there for one another. They were definately friendship goals. They didn't rely on trouble-making like Emily and Lauren did. They relied on trust. They would consult eachother for any decision, whether it be minor (as in, what to name a character in a story you had to write for class) or extremely major (like who to ask out and what they would say). Their friendship would forever remain in tact.

The largest group in the class. The one that consisted of best friends Montahna and Raina, rumoured gay kids Pete and Patrick, the magnificent Asia, and the weight-lifting Andy Hurley. There was a lot of stuff that went on in that group. Many topics were discussed. Music, romantic preferences, normal highschool things. And they played fuck, marry, kill on a daily basis. They used celebrities, teachers, students, and mainly the people in their first period class. It was an odd game to play in the middle of class whilst texting in a group conversation they made, but whatever gives your vessel buoyancy. Montahna and Raina were more close-knit than anyone else there. They had known eachother for ever. But so did everyone else here. They just seemed to spend more time with eachother. Pete and Patrick would secretly hold hands under the computer desks without anyone noticing. They shot eachother glances with sweet, long smiles every now and again that would get the other's heart beating. Asia drew quirky pictures like Gerard's face on a lemon when he died his hair blonde. The title of it was Lemon Gerard, and it was lovely. She drew many things and she was a great artist. Andy, as I said before, lifted weights on a regular basis and was pretty fit for a junior.

And through all of this, Frank Iero and Gerard Way were so caught up in constantly passing eachother cute notes and staring contently into eachothers eyes that they failed the class. And they couldn't wait to retake it the next year. ♡
