Frerard One-Shots #Wattys2016 [currently being edited]

Gerards pov- 6 years old

       Vroom vroom.

    We were going about as fast as lightning.

   Me and Frankie were playing racecar in my mom's hot car, all the while hiding from a wasp outside of the car.

   Me and Frank were just about to win first place when Frank  began to scream.

   "WHAT WHATS WRONG!" I got all anxious.

   "Sorry, we were about to crash", he smiled his no front toothed smile.

   I laughed.

   "Ooh, what is this", Frank marvelled at these coins in the cup holder.

    "I think they're coins", I said.

   "Like chocolate coins?" he cocked his head to the side.

   I thought about that for quite a while.

   "Ya know, I dunno Frankie. Maybe we should try it", I said.

   We both picked up a handful each.

   "You go first", I said anxiously.

   He shrugged and put a silver colored one in his mouth.

   He gagged and in the process started making choking noises.

   He grasped for his throat and pointed at his mouth.

   I freaked out and ran inside my house to get my mom.

   "Mom get your keys. FRANK S CHOKING", I yelled, grasping her hand and pulling her.

   I felt a twinge of pain on my arm, but I ignored it.

   The pain kept occurring but I didn't care.

   My mom got up quick and ran out. She pulled Frank out and began performing the Heimlich maneuver.

   The coin shot from out of his mouth and landed on the ground.

   "Howd you choke on a quarter?" my mom asked panicked.

    "We thought they were candy", we looked down ashamed.

   "Awe", my mom looked sympathetic. "Come on, let's go get some real candy".

   Frank gasped.

   "What?" I said all defensively.

   "Gerard, there are red dots on your arms", Frank pointed.

   "Did you get stung by a wasp?" my mom gasped.

   I nodded.

   "Maybe, I dunno", I began to cry.

   "We need to get you to the emergency room", my mom shoved me in the car and buckled me up as Frank got in next to me.

   Well, I had to get a dreaded shot but me and Frank both got real candy coins so it was worth it.
