                                                 Gerard and I were walking hand in hand through the school park. School had just ended and we were grateful. We didn't like being away from each other in all honesty.
                             The class bully, Jason, walked up to us.
                             "Hey short stuff, how's your cooties doing?" the idiot teased.
                             "Leave me alone Jason, you're not funny! Only girls have cooties", I whined.
                             "He is a girl", he laughed.
                             "Am not, I'm a big kid, I will beat you!" Gerard retaliated.
                             "Oh yeah, right. You'll beat me up", Jason growled.
                             Gerard raised his fist and Jason cowered away.
                             "That's what I thought, short stuff", Gerard sassed him and snapped.
                             "Let's go Frankie", Gerard grasped my hand again and we left the scene of the crime.
                             "Thanks Gerard", I smiled my no tooth smile.
                            "Anytime Frankie, anything for you", he grinned.
                             We walked along the playground in circles, swinging our hands back and forth in joy.
                             "Gerard, promise you'll never leave me", I stated.
                             "I know Frankie, I know", Gerard hugged me.
